My boyfriend and I spent 4 days here in one of the cabanas. The accommodations were a bit more rustic than we were expecting. The pictures we saw did not translate to the experience we had, but maybe it was just our specific cabana. With that being said, we still had a great time and made the most of our...

The cabanas are very noisy since the resort is on top of the hill but on the flip side you get a really good sunset view. The food is mediocre at best, go to town for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The staff was polite and friendly. For the price Cahal Pech resort is OK but we were not impressed with everything it had...

Extremely dusty. If you have allergies, watch out. Curtains, window sills and screens are full of dust and we returned to Texas very ill. Bed had little bugs that bite which added to our misery. Food was great.

The Cahel Pech resort is at the top of the hill just above the Mayan site with the same name. The rooms in the main lodge building had been painted in early October and smelled of paint so we stayed in a thatched hut bungalo. With a nice porch and opposing windows, we aired out the musty smell from the...

This facility is showing its age, and as we visited during low season, services in the restaurant were very limited. Small rooms with dinky beds, it was not that comfortable. Since there were very few visitors at that time (we were 1 of 2 couples) food options were sparse. The last 2 nights we went elsewhere for dinner. The staff...

We were quite happy with our stay here. Quiet area and friendly staff. The view from the top was really nice and it's close to all kinds of activities in San Ignacio. We hired a car from Belize airport and drove here. We also took a trip over to Guatemala to see the maya ruins and it was easy to...

My fiancé and I trekked to Cahal Pech to find the ruins were shut due to the hurricane closing in. We continued up the track and arrived at the resort where we stayed for lunch and drinks. The food was basic and limited (fried chicken and fries or nachos) but this was due to the number of guests wanting food...

Been There for one night only and was more than enough ! Room was very tired, with poor quality mattress (in lateral old building). Don't ask whether kitchen was good or not ! They were supposed to close at 8pm and decided to close at 06.30pm without notice ! Letting us and many others with no other option than to...

Great view from the second and third floor rooms and a nice pool and pool bar. Our room in the main building was a bit tired, and the maid service, just remade beds. Definitely not a higher-end place. Best part is you can walk five minutes to the entrance of the Cahal Pech ruins, great, smaller place you can easy...

We loved Cahal Pech! All staff members were friendly and accommodating. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to have us! In particular, we appreciated our drivers and guides, Huberto and Ian, and the awesome bartenders, who make delicious cocktails. The cleaning staff were great and made adorable towel art on our bed several days while we were there. The shower and water...
