We stayed 1 night at the Venus and enjoyed the stay. The Venus is right downtown near the market and shopping. The rooms are very nice and have hot water a/c and cable tv. The size of our room was fairly small but the views of futball field and market was excellent.

Basic hotel on main street with bars, restaurants, shops and banks close by, also numerous tour & guide shops. Staff friendly and room/bathroom clean, light breakfast provided in reception area. Good place to stop for activities in the area (Mayan ruins, caves etc). Parking nearby, free with hotel voucher.

Budget accommodation situated in Burns Avenue the tourist street in San Ignatio. I had a private room with bathroom but there are shared rooms and dormitories. It had everything I needed including a simple breakfast of fresh fruit juice coffee and toast . The staff were really nice and very helpful. The markets are just behind the hotel and shops...

This is an inexpensive, basic hotel with an amazing staff that works hard to make people feel safe and welcome and who keep the property exceptionally clean. Conveniently located in the middle of town.

This a good choice for budget backpackers. It's right in the center of town, a few mins from ATM meeting points with restaurants and bars all around. Only thing is that it can be really noisy until quite late, 2-3am. Also, not that this is the hotels fault, but there is a dark atmosphere in this town, people offering drugs...

We loved this odd little hotel as it is situated right in the center of everything that is happenning in San Ignacio. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean and basic, it also has free WiFi if you stay in a room near the office or sit in the tinny loby. The Venus Hotel is about half...

Stayed at the Venus 3 nights while exploring Western Belize and the rooms were clean and the staff is friendly. Fresh coffee and juice in the morning with toast and jam. Centrally located on the strip, and overlooks the square. Would definitely stay here again.

The Venus Hotel is centrally located on a main street with quite a few of the tour companies just a few doors down. The hostel itself is very simple but has everything you need. You can pay extra for AC, but we found that the fans were fine. The first night we were there it was pretty noisy outside our...

Stayed in one of the budget rooms on the same level as the reception. As a base to crash out this is fine as near all the local amenities. However marked down because of the damp smell in the room which wasn't bright. With a bit of better decoration and TLC this place could be a lot better.
