Windy Hill is just outside busy San Ignacio and across the bridge and up the hill from Santa Elena on the road to Succotz and Benque on the George Price Highway. It is set in a lush garden that is magical in the morning mist, and perfect for lounging away a sunny afternoon reading on the casita verandah hammock, or...

Good value for accomodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. They can help you with different tours. Nice grounds with many tropical plants. Very nice setting. Quiet. Rooms pretty clean. A bit out of date, but not bad. Nice that they are bungalos, as opposed to typical hotel set up. Tiny TV if you want to catch a sports game go...

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We stayed only one night, so we did not enjoy the hotel itself. Staff was really nice. I forgot a scarf there and they kept it for me until I came back to San Ignacio.

The staff at Windy HIll were very friendly and helpful. Service could not have been better. The room was simple but clean and comfortable (including the beds). Food at the restaurant was pretty good...breakfast was fine, dinner was really tasty. If I could do it over, I would have found a place within walking distance of downtown San Ignacio or...

Had a great stay. Jessica & all the staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Would stay again close to town to walk or grab a cab. They took great care of us.

A good hotel for weekend getaways from Belize. We had stayed in this place in sep, oct. Had pleasant experience both time. Courteous staff and well maintained -wooden cottages. it is outside San ignacio town, close to main road. You get spacious , clean rooms, free wifi. Hotel arranged all our tours to Mayan Ruins, Caves, Horse riding. Thumbs up.

Spent a couple of comfy nights at Windy Hill Resort. Older units but very clean and comfortable. To my understating it is under new ownership and they are making updates as they can. Great location just a bit out of town. Nice views over-looking town. Quiet. No wifi in our room - had to go to the restaurant or bar...

I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in Belize and this past week we attended a conference at Windy Hill. I have never been somewhere where the ENTIRE staff was so nice and accommodating. All of the food was delicious, and if you had food restrictions, you were served something equally delicious. The palapas were great for our meetings. When I...

My husband and I came here after we left another resort due to crappy service, and had absolutely no regrets. We were immediately greeted friendly staff, who not only got us a cabin with A/C, but also arranged for us to go on a tour of Xunantunich and Cahal Pech that afternoon. If you want a well-maintained place that's close...
