I can’t say enough good things about Sleeping Giant. The lodge and grounds are lovely. We stayed in a Spanish Casita with a stream running next to it that was beautiful. I enjoyed no TV and no WiFi in the room. I wanted to unplug...More
We had an amazing four day stay at the Sleeping Giant Lodge with our two children aged four and five. They were too little to do a lot of the activities off site, but we had a wonderful time without ever leaving the resort! We...More
My husband and I stayed two nights at the Sleeping Giant Lodge in February 2018. We were in one of the smaller River Guide rooms and it was perfect for our brief stay, clean, comfortable and very private with a lovely outdoor patio for coffee...More
Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful room on picturesque grounds. We booked an ATM tour direct through the hotel and were able to enjoy the tour in a small group with a knowledgable guide. There is one restaurant and bar on the premises with extremely...More
We loved Belize, and had a very enjoyable stay at the Sleeping Giant Lodge. Our room was huge with a big deck and hammock. The food was wonderful. I especially loved the oatmeal every morning. The service was spot on. We definitely recommend this lodge.

Hi there! How long are you staying and how old are the kiddos? I think it depends on what you'd like to do--I'd give a day for each activity and then figure out how many days you have left to play with. We knew we had 3 activities we definitely wanted to do on the mainland, so we had one day for each and did the Belize Zoo on our travel day in between while driving from SGRL to the water taxi. It helped break the day up too, and if you get to the zoo on the early side, all the animals are out and about.
Please message me, I'd love to help. I'm a concierge by trade so planning is my jam and I'm missing Belize very much!
