Literally its like 1000 birds outside (only on the hotel premises) that comes out around 6pm & stays all night to the sun comes up making a bunch of noise. This is every night & the staff knows this. When I 1st seen it I was so amazed to see that many birds then you realize how much noise they make. As I was walking to the front desk agent to ask what the issues was with the birds she was ready giggling because she knew what I was coming to her about. I been up since 2am because of these birds. It's 5am as I'm typing & these birds are so f*#king loud. Do not stay here if you want sleep because it's nothing they can do about the birds. I really wish it was audio on here yall would see I'm not exaggerating. How do you call yourself a hotel & you can't get sleep? Oh & I had to unplug the phone because I keep ringing in the middle of the night.

Avoid this hotel if you can. My family of 5 stayed there for one night on New Year's Eve. We selected this hotel due to the name brand and location. It was close to the marina and we were on our way to San Pedro. The staff is generally friendly and the rooms were clean and acceptable. However, on arrival we were told that the hotel was throwing a big New Year's party and that it would be loud. We were provided with 2 sets of ear plugs. At this point we should have realized that it was not going to be a great night's sleep and should not have checked in. The band was set up right under our window which was facing the water. The music was extremely loud, to the point of shaking the windows and it went until 4 am. We tried calling the desk to see what they could do and got no response. My wife forgot her toothbrush and they did not have any, was told the shop was closed. We thought at least there was complimentary coffee, but had to pay for it. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel charged $25 USD per person, which is absolutely a rip off! You can get varying rates if you asked around, which we discovered later. There were two restaurants on site, but only one was open due to the special event. The waiter there mixed up my order and I had to wait another half hour for the correct item while the rest of my family was eating. Don't let the pictures mislead you - the tables and chairs outside were not usable, they had dirt and grime on them, the pool was cold and on the night we were there there was no one using it. Sorry, Radisson, I would not stay here again.

I had an amazingly relaxing, decadent final day in Belize City thanks to the resourcefulness and kindness of Shanice at the front desk who found a way for me to enjoy the pool for an afternoon despite there being no day passes by allowing me to rent a room by the hour. I also want to give a big shout-out to Shamar who worked the kitchen who lent me a dollar to buy a drink with when I realized I had no local currency left! It's experiences like these that make one trust and rely on a hotel like this, and ensure that I will be coming back.

We stayed at the Radisson for our first night in Belize. The hotel is right next to the ferry terminal to help get you to the Cayes. The room was functional and clean (but no HDMI to plug in a Roku stick). The restaurant seemed overpriced compared to other options in the neighborhood. The hotel appears to contract with a few drivers for day trips. The drivers have to work to get business, but they can come across as aggressive when you're just trying to walk into the hotel after a day of walking around. We had some very loud birds outside our room that woke us up at 5:30 AM, but I'm not sure you can fault the hotel for the birds on their premises.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The view from the room was lovely. We ate at the breakfast buffet and had dinner at the Tavern one night as well as some take out for lunch. The food at the Tavern is what moved the score from 4 to 3 stars. The food was average to tough and leathery. And it took a long time to arrive. I originally thought that this may just be par for the course in Belize, but during the course of our trip we had much better food experiences at other hotels. There was also a lot of construction noise coming from across the street. Luckily our room was well sound proofed. Upon a walk we found Creme De La Creme 2 a short distance away near the lighthouse. Amazing food and frozen goodies.

This was our second visit in 2 years and things have changed. Staff at front desk generally indifferent. The restaurant associated with the hotel was VERY disappointing. The cocktail I ordered was literally undrinkable it was so sour. My husband was served a pork chop instead of snapper smothered in a tomato based shrimp sauce. My friend's meal was also very disappointing and she ate only half. Service slow and indifferent all around. Perhaps they are having staff moral issues. The rooms were OK and have a nice view. Will try to stay somewhere else next time.

We stayed one evening at the Radisson as we came in too late to catch the water taxi to our Caye. I was very impressed with the staff and all their cheerful help. They were wonderful about airport pick-up and check in was easy. We had a wheel break on our flight down on two of our luggage pieces and the desk lady went out of her way to find duct tape to help me repair the wheels. Dinner was delicious and we slept like a rock on the fifth floor tucked into a corner. When we opened the curtain in the morning there was a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea with the sun rising! Very nice stay would definitely stay again!

Took forever to check in. While in the middle of checking in the receptionist took a phone call and we had to stand there for 10 minutes while she laughed and carried on with the phone call at 11pm. After check in we walked out the door to our outdoor access to our rooms and the sewage smell about knocked us over. Opened the door to our room and flipped the light switch and I mean cockroaches scattered. I killed two of them I could catch and took pictures. Birds are singing right out your door all night and you can actually see people walking by with the cracks under the door. The breakfast was actually really good. Dinner was too but service is soooo slow. An hour min to get the food. Internet doesn’t work and TV is blurry on every channel. I will try the Ramada next time I get stuck in Belize City for work. Check out was fine. Everyone was very kind the entire stay.

We stayed at the Radisson during Hurricane Lisa. While the city lost electricity and water, the hotel had back up for both which made a huge difference. The staff was very helpful and cheerful and stayed overnight to provide services including keeping the restaurant open. What could have been a very unpleasant experience was actually a positive experience. Thank you.

We stayed here before heading out to the Cayes (keys) for a diving trip. It’s definitely in the city and there’s a street between the hotel and the water with quite a bit of traffic but the views of the dock, port, and large yachts are beautiful. Service was good and front desk very helpful. There are plenty of taxis available anytime you want one.
