This isn't a 4 star resort, A/C doesn't exist and breakfast isn't included, but if you are looking to spend a small amount of money and want a clean room, this is your place. The owners live on site and are really nice. They will provide recommendations on places to eat and will arrange for a trusted taxi driver. Really,...

We stayed here for one night and it was great. It was in a safe and secure location and the owners were lovely. We were even able to walk after dark to get dinner and didn't feel unsafe at all in the neighbourhood. The rooms were clean and very affordable.

(+)The location of the guesthouse is pretty good. We were allowed to leave our luggage one day before check in, when we went to Crooked Tree. Shower is excellent compare to other hotels in Belize. The owner notified us that his neighbor listens music very loud and accommodated us in a quiet room. (-) All TV channels could have had...

The room was small but clean. There was a fan provided but it was very hot in the room. TV worked, but it was a yellowish picture and/or fuzzy as well as having a nice melted hole on top. Also, if you tried to change the volume on the tv itself it would shut off. Neighborhood seemed quiet. It was...

Rooms are clean, the owner is a nice guy and helpful. So if you're looking for a cheap place for a night this is really good (not cheap compared to surrounding countries but for belizean prices really good). The city itself is just not worth to visit.

I found it a bit tricky to find a decent, quiet and affordable place to stay in Belize City, which was also in a safer part of town. I happened upon the Sea Breeze Guest House, and was so pleased to have found it. It's a very quiet, unassuming place, and the family that run it are accommodating and friendly....

Don't be intimidated by the gate. Owner friendly and helpful. Easy walk to ferry and about 15 minutes to bus station. Clean with towels provided and communal jug to make hot drinks. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here before going to Caye Caulker. The rooms are very basic and clean, the ones under the roof very hot (only fans). The rooms are cleaner than the shared bathrooms. The stuff is very unfriendly, giving you the feeling you are not really welcome. Wouldn't recommend this guesthouse.
