There's a reason why this is the #1 hotel in Caye Caulker. After roughing it for some time in San Ignacio, it was nice to come to Weezie's. It's a 10 minute walk from the water taxi (although nothing is really that far on Caye Caulker!) We had the large studio room on the top floor and it was beautiful! High, wooden ceilings, two ceiling fans, air conditioning, a full kitchen, a comfy bed with soft linens, a porch with two adirondack chairs, extra pillows, lots of places to store clothing and other items, windows on all four sides of the space, and everything was spotless. We had delicious huevos rancheros every morning for breakfast, an amazing chicken quesadilla for lunch one day and many, many Belikins! The restaurant staff are so attentive, kind, and helpful and the front desk staff were also fantastic. We took the half day snorkeling tour and I will be talking about it for years to come! We basically had a private tour with Ian who was phenomenal. He actually got in the water with us for the first two stops and pointed out all these beautiful fish. He also helped us to see three manatees which was a once in a lifetime experience. We spent a lot of time commuting from the pool to the overwater lounging dock and back again. Weezie's is away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars, but close enough to easily walk to them. I would recommend Weezie's to my friends and family and I hope I have the opportunity to return one day.…
My husband and I stayed at Weezie’s for a full week, and it was absolutely amazing! All of the staff was fantastic, and Anna cooked delicious food!! We stayed in a queen oceanfront suite and will do so again - it was perfect. We were usually the only 2 in the pool, and the dock by the water was a wonderful place to hang out as well. We were able to get all the goods we needed to fix breakfast in our room and enjoy coffee out on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We highly recommend Weezie’s!!!
We enjoyed our stay at Weezie’s so much and will definitely stay there again if we return to the Island. Our cottage was super clean and housekeeping came daily. The staff on the grounds were so hard working and were always doing something to upkeep or improve the place . The dock was so relaxing and my husband and daughter caught some cool fish. The restaurant was so good and we ate or bought drinks there every day. We took a tour with Ian and he went above and beyond to make sure we had fun snorkeling, fishing, and visiting Shark Ray Alley! Highly recommend!
wonderful to wake up with a view on the ocean. wonderful to just stroll down for wonderful breakfast. wonderful grounds to come back after our diving lessons. And lest but not least, wonderful, comfortable and complete rooms/apartments.
This place was ideal for us on Caye Caulker in so many ways. It’s out of town just the right distance, close enough to walk to town for dinner and bars-grocery store 3 minute walk away. They have decent bikes and good boat rentals ( not unshaded pangas but Boston whaler style fishing boats) on site with knowledgeable guides for both fishing and snorkeling. I could not speak highly enough about the staff, Nevermind their attention to cleanliness and details throughout the property. they truly want to make your stay as perfect as possible, and are as friendly as can be. I don’t go lots of places twice-I’d go back to Weezies, if for no other reason than to share it with friends
The cottages and beautiful and the pool is incredible. The customer service is great and they go above and beyond to make your trip good. The owner was also really nice and accommodated all our needs.
My family and I stayed in the yellow cottage for just over a week. Our cottage was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very attentive to our needs and requests. My daughters loved the pool. I would recommend staying in one of the cottages or the main hotel looked really nice. We had a fabulous breakfast every morning at the restaurant at Weezie's. If we come back to Caye Caulker we will stay at Weezies again. We took several tours with John from Weezie's. Snorkeling one day, deep sea fishing another then a combination snorkeling and spear fishing. Every time John made sure we had a great time. On our spear fishing day we caught some Barracuda which the kitchen at Weezies cooked up for our lunch. Highly recommend taking any of the tours from John at Weezies.
We loved our time at weezies. From the moment we stepped foot on the property they did everything to make our stay easy and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic and do is the bar service. All the staff is so very friendly. The place is clean and well kept. The property feels very safe and watched over. The night security was super nice, even finding us batteries for the roku late at night. We mentioned our lock was tight to close and the front desk guy jumped up and fixed it right away. The hotel is the perfect distance from the airport and town. Riding bikes made our stay extra fun. We got around all over on our bikes from weezies. Go slow. The island motto was a perfect pace for us.
Weezie's was incredible to us. We were three 28 year old females and stayed in the Pink cottage. The staff was very accommodating, the cottage was so clean, and cleaned every day while we were there. They have 2 beautiful pools we spent days and nights in. The porch on the pink cottage was perfect for us to enjoy the rain storms that would quickly move through. We were SO grateful we stayed at weezie's vs. near the noisier parts of the island. We rented a golf cart to get around the island quickly.
I could stay in the rooms for a month -- good amount of space, full kitchen, tv with netflix, and STRONG AC made it extremely comfortable. We also took the private snorkel tour with John, which is a MUST DO. John was able to point out so many cool wildlife and facts, and was great company for the full-day trip. Just remember to reapply your (reef safe) sunscreen between every dive or you backs and legs are going to regret it :')
