We stopped in to see their availability. Their 'private room' was way up a bunch of steps through 2 or 3 other rooms and was a small attic space. The bed was a foam mattress on the ground. All of that is fine if its super cheap but it was 60BZD! The bathroom was way back down all the steps....

Stay here if you're looking for a true laidback backpackers atmosphere. Do not stay here for anything else than that. The beds in the private rooms are better than dorms and worth the extra couple BZD's.

Pros: +Room and bathroom was clean +Free use of kayaks +Good location Cons: -Low security, there never seemed to be anyone working there -Kitchen poorly equipped -Dock and the back garden of the hostel was full of rubbish, including nappies and rusty metal A small amount of effort and a touch of paint could make this place really nice but...

Very chilled place (until people spoil it) Big group terrorised many people when I stayed there. Place itself is very relaxed if a bit basic. Spent plenty of time there in the hammocks. Maybe more hammocks needed? Showers could do with an upgrade. Water quality in showers was a problem but I know they were trying to fix that following...

The owner of this hostel is lovely and has a very chill positive vibe. As they don't take bookings in advanced we rocked up late evening and in need of a decent nights sleep. The hostel was pretty full but 2 spare beds in the downstairs dorm. The beds were comfortable no bed bugs! There was a locker area in...

Such a nice little hostel, so chilled and very relaxed owners. The best island I've ever visited "caye caulker" and when I go back I'm staying here again very simple and relaxed but we went with a party group and that's what we did! Great fun.

Bellas is the cheapest hostel on the island as far as I know and thats why we stayed there. Although its well located and the rooms are average as youd expect from a hostel, I didn't feel entirely safe there. The downstairs dorm anyone can walk in or out at any point in the day or night and the owner...

its a good and cheap place to stay, it wasn´t so dirty like others says, the cleaning lady cleaned our room every day, the only negative thing was the owner, he was all day with a bad face looking around and stressfull. and makes you feel he doesn´t want you there. but if you are not in the hostel and...

Nice hostel with good relaxed staff on an amazingly relaxed island, the location could be better while its right next to the loud and partyish dirty mcnasty, but the place itself is really nice. WiFi isnt that good and the water is disgusting, you Will be cleaner if you dont shower at all.

We visited this hostel on our first stop on a 2 month tour of Central America. We had a private room and paid $30 per night (which compared to the rest of Central America is on the more expensive side) but we were expecting to pay more in Belize anyway. The room was very basic but we didn't mind as...
