room was,in a great spot at the quiet end of the island. nice grounds. clean but unattractive room and you could't open the windows! ( covered in plastic) to get the sea breeze. Beach, like many of the beaches there, was completely full of seaweed with a strong sulfur smell.

If you want to relax...this is the place. It is an older Hotel that is very clean and away from Town. The island bike path is right in front...so you can grab a bike and take a incredible ride around the island. The rooms have AC and refrigerators, they have little paddle boats you can use for free. Free coffee and water in the office, Beer and Soda is available to, The Hotel has lots of work being done to make it a true resort, I would stay here again. We got fresh towels everyday and our beds made up. 10 minute walk to town, 5 minute walk to the local store. There is a dock with hammocks at the end that will make you relax...its easy to fall asleep with cool winds rocking you back and forth.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a few nights. The views from every room are picturesque! (Picture I put up was view from my room, Room #1), Great swim area, beach area and hammocks to relax in! The owner, Darwin, is on site all the time, he will tell you any and everything you need to know about the island and mainland Belize. He will go out of his way to make your stay enjoyable! He set up a fishing trip and dinner for one of the days we were on the island. I would highly recommend this resort. (I can only imagine how much better it will be next time since he is building a Tiki Bar on site!!!).

My friends and I just got back from a trip to Belize. If you're headed to Caye Caulker, you need to look into Anchorage Beach Resort Hotel! Anchorage offers the perfect combination of picturesque beach views and a private location. The hotel is only a few minute walk to the main bars and restaurants, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet and private beach time. The rooms have everything you need, including good air conditioning. The best part of the stay was that the owner and operator, Darwin, stays on the grounds and is always available if you need anything. He is very well connected on the island and can put you in touch with the right folks regardless of what you are looking for. He directed us to restaurants we never would've found on our own and it was amazing each time. Without hesitation, I would recommend Anchorage to anyone headed to the Caye!…

If you are looking for a place to stay in Caye Caulker, this is the place to be. It's about a 10 minute walk or less than 5 minute golf cart ride to the main area where the water taxis and restaurants are. Close enough to be able to get out and have fun but far enough away to where it isn't too loud at night. The beach and dock are picturesque. Turquoise waters, white sand, and hammocks and chairs provided. There is also a little bar being built in the center of the resort that looks like it will be amazing. Darwin, the owner, literally treated us like family. He went above and beyond to answer our questions and always knew the right people to connect us with when we wanted to do something on the island. When we wanted to go deep sea fishing, he hooked us up with Mojo charters, and they were so hardworking and showed us a great time, and when we looking for a good spot to eat, Darwin took us to Jenny's for one of the best fry jacks (and meals) of our whole trip. We never would have known about that spot without his recommendation. Staying at the Anchorage Resort was great not only because of the location but also because of the service provided. I hope to come back to Caye Caulker, and I will definitely stay there again. …

Nice, more secluded side of Caye Caulker, about 10 min walk to the main drag. Recommend getting a room on the 3rd (top) floor. Beautiful ocean views, have hammocks, lounge chairs, free kayak rentals, lots of fish and rays hang out under the dock.

To start, my overall stay was not too bad. The room is not nice, but it has a bed and a tv with more channels than my 4.5 resort in San Pedro and great A/C. The location is a bit sucky at night because it is really dark. They need to get better mattresses. The first night I was freaked out because our room door was messed up and appeared to be open and when the wind blew it sounded like it was open and the sand flies ate me alive, literally. Also, the coffee machine was broken, none of the bikes were in riding condition and the internet never worked. The second night, the toilet would not flush, and no we did not throw paper in there, and there was no electricity on the island. BUT, overall, this place was ok. I recommend it for a short stay.

This property was located approximately 10-15 min (walk) from the water taxi area. It was clean and the staff were super friendly. The manager was extremely helpful too. We traveled with a 14 month old and everyone was so great with the baby. There was a nice covered area to play in the sand, free kayaks, and hammocks. My only complaint was that you need to arrive before 5pm when the office closes and that they did not serve breakfast. There are no coffee makers in the rooms.

My friends and I visited Anchorage Resort in Caye Caulker. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice cozy little place perched on the banks if the beautiful Caribbean sea. The room was nice and comfortable. Not a lot to it but it was really nice for what it was. Beds were nice and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and no pool but the open sea is perfect. Great place to stay. Definetly revisiting!
