We weren't sure what to expect since there were not any chain hotels on this island. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay here. The location is ideal - not too close to the ferry dock and not too close to the split. The island itself is very small, so everything is very much within walking distance. The hotel isn't anything super fancy, but it worked! A great resting spot. The service was very good. We had a golf cart waiting for us when our ferry arrived and we arranged transport from the airport through them as well. They handled everything, including purchasing tickets and checking us in for the ferry ride.

Jan's hotel was a wonderful place to call home for our 8 day stay in Caye Caulker Belize. The location was great with a section of the shoreline just for Jan's Hotel Guests, the rooms were very clean, the bed comfortable, the staff extremely friendly. My husband and I traveled to Belize to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and Jan's is right across the way from all the activities we did and the little beach area was perfect for reading and resting, observing the Pelicans and frigate birds flying overhead like lazy kites in the sky. We look forward to our next stay with Jan's. This trip truly changed our lives by teaching us how to "go slow" and appreciate life and experiencing harmony.

The hotel is clean and the rooms welcoming! We had a suite on the second floor that gave us views of the beach and the street. The room included beach towels. We were close to ALL of town! Sheena was very helpful and Gabriel was, too! We want to come back!

The was a fantastic little hotel with a staff will go above and beyond to help you with your needs. They help to the stress out of life by making sure to arrange all your transportation needs to make it to the hotel safely. The hospitality that you receive from the entire staff is out of this world. The rooms are kept spotless and the view is so relaxing there. You have a small balcony were you look at the water and mini beach across. They are close to the split and plenty of good places to eat.

We had a great time on the island in general, and everything was awesome at Jan's! From the tour of the island we received by Gabriel, to the accommodations, everything was great. Perfect location right on the beach. Our room was super clean and they upkept it each day. Very personable folks there and will likely be back again!

My wife and I stayed at Jan's Hotel for a week and everything from coordinating our airport transfers to helping us with our COVID testing was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy every minute. Perfect sized room for what we needed and the close proximity to Frenchie's Dive Service was perfect for us. We will be back!

This was a solo trip for me over the Christmas week and I loved my stay here. Great location that was walkable to everything. Charming for the value. I want to give thanks to the staff especially Gabriel. He over exceeded great customer service and always greeting you every morning and asking if you need anything no matter if he was currently doing something himself. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this place!

Jan's Hotel is a great spot for divers on Caye Caulker. The room was clean and the furnishings were exactly what we needed as divers. We were very comfortable and the AC was good and we were able to sleep good at night. Hotel staff were attentive, polite and extremely helpful in helping us schedule our COVID-19 tests and helping arrange airport and ferry transportation. The hotel has a great spot on the beach to sit by the water and the environment is very laid back and minimalist, which is all you need for diving. We will absolutely be back to Caye Caulker and plan on staying at Jan's again.

Thank you for this great review! We are indeed centrally located between the 2 main dive shops on the island also conveniently located near grocery stores. Our staff is always readily available to help all our guest to have the best experience while at Jan's and of course we try to make your arrival and departure as smooth as possible. with appointment for your covid-19 test and transfer to and from the ferry dock / airstrip and international airport.
