Whether you are flying there or getting there by boat you will arrive at San Pedro Town, Ambergis Caye. You can walk around or rent your golf cart and just ride around as you familiarize yourself with the small town you will surely see stores, market, and small fruit/veggie stands. The resort is north of San Pedro about 15 minutes on the cart. ...If you are going to be on the mainland first, you can go shopping in Belize City where it’s cheaper and can also buy some things there and carry them to the Island. Hope this helps
