An absolute gem of a hostel/inn. So many great aspects of this facility are noteworthy such as the location and accessibility of the property. The communication from staff was prompt and direct - and on point... better than anyone would get at a luxury hotel property. Speaking of staff - they are incredibly kind and helpful. I enjoyed being greeted as we passed each other. (This adds a little personal touch to the experience). The room (Jaguar) was spacious, roomy and comfortable. My family of 4 fit very comfortably; we didn't feel like we were crammed into a small room. The beds were all very comfortable. The linens were very soft and lite, and kept us very comfortable during the night. Bathroom was very spacious and allowed for 3 people to easily fit if all "appliances" i.e shower, toilet and sink were taken (I know, too much info - but such is life, especially when traveling with a family). Bath linens were aplenty. I liked the fact of shampoo and body wash - it was 2 less things for me to pack. An added bonus was the floor mats. I LOVED this little bit. The grounds were beat, clean and orderly. Felt very secure and safe. There is a safe in the room. Coffee maker. Sink and dorm fridge. The only to be aware of is the slope in the shower. It's a little steep and if you aren't expecting it, and you put a lot of weight and force on the initial step(foot), you might slip. Overall - a 5 star hostel which will be a repeat when we book for San Pedro again.…
I booked 4 nights at the Drift Inn but ended up extending another 3 nights here because I enjoyed it so much! The rooms are large and clean, the location is amazing, and the staff is the best! The air con kept us cool at night, and we had hot coffee and free drinking water provided the whole time I was there. The hotel is a short walking distance to the best bars and dive shops on the island, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. They told us the best places to eat/drink each night, what events were going on each night, and recommended dive shops to use. I couldn't have been happier with my stay here, I highly recommend checking them out!!!
Wonderful time, we are a big family and lodging can be challenging. We had lots of space and everyone was very comfortable. The staff and everyone we met were so friendly. Also, the location was ideal for everything we wanted and needed to get to.
I stayed at Drift Inn San Pedro in July 2022. The place is not fancy but everything is really clean. I stood there for one week working remotely and connectivity was fair enough. The price of the shared room is fine but I found that the price of the private one is a little bit expensive. Great location, the swimming pool that is shared with the hostel next to it (Sandbar) is amazing, and I felt very safe while staying at Drift Inn. I loved the fact that there were two water dispensers and you can have drinkable water whenever you wanted to. I would recommend it.
Convenient to everything. Staff was very friendly and responsive to all of our requests. We would definitely stay at Drift Inn again! You can sit at the The Sand Bar downstairs with water views. Relaxing ambiance and they have the best pizza!!
No frills but nice people, great location, perfectly fine for short to long stays. This is our second stay here and I will definitely be back. The staff is very responsive to any issues. The restaurant at the Sandbar is delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Very nice property. Great location on the beach. Quiet, peaceful area but a 2-3 minute walk from everything. Clean and comfortable rooms, great air conditioning, and terrific staff. Will definitely be back!
This is my second time staying…..this little place has everything you need. It’s clean, quiet, the rooms have air and a mini frig. They are big on recycling, which we love! Plenty of places to read a book in a quiet little nook. The staff is friendly and efficient. They even offered to keep our bags because we arrived 3 hours before check in. It’s right one the beach and have a nice pool for cooling off. It’s less than a city block to stores to stock the frig with water, soda and snack. We have been coming to the island for 22 years….we have stayed all over the island but this is our place of choice. Great if you are on a budget and even if you are not.
Very nice place and staff , Hailey the Boss Lady is excellent . I stayed in a private queen and was bigger than a lot of hotel rooms . The whole property was always clean and quiet , but you had a automatic alarm clock thanks to some nearby roosters LoL . There was a dog that barked during the day a bit but was always quiet at night . I will stay here again next time I'm in town .
This was the perfect place for me to arrive solo and stay a night before meeting my friends here. Traveling solo and staying in a new place, I wanted to feel safe & comfortable. The staff when I arrived were welcoming & kindly explained all the amenities, which are abundant…clean water stations, full kitchen to use, coffee in the morning… surprisingly so comfortable, and perfect a long travel. Quiet comfortable night sleep! The morning was nice to drink coffee either in a hammock up on the balcony or down at the kitchen lounge area. So nice. And Hailey the owner was very helpful in the morning as I figured out how to get around and possibilities to eat and explore a bit. I will definitely stay again, and hope to soon! Thank you for creating a beautiful oasis in an already beautiful paradise!…
