The hotel is beautiful and staff was very nice. The valet guys greeted my kids with a smile ever day, helped me with my stroller and bags in and out of my car. The room was very clean and modern. The pool was very clean and food service was awesome. Food was delish and kid approved too.
This is a fantastic hotel and even better if you are a HH Gold or Diamond member. The lobby is on the 7th floor and is modern & chic. There is a restaurant (Gala) and a bar on the floor as well as a top notch Executive Lounge. Gala was great for breakfast with $15 credit pp as Diamond members. The lounge was also open to grab snacks and drinks. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was fabulous throughout. Texts from the front desk staff including Kamilla, Mateo and Alberto before and after we arrived to check on us. Parking is in the garage ($25 day I think) and direct access to hotel elevators. The hotel has been open for several months and Hilton should be proud of the property and their service staff.
Myself and my family stayed here for 4 days and had an amazing time very clean well-run hotel the staff where amazing and the pool area simply beautiful but for us the rooms where the best feature specious and clean. Also the location directly across from Aventura mail was ideal. We will definitely be back.
From February 18th – 21st, 2022, my husband and I stayed at the Hilton Aventura, in Miami Florida. We were told that this hotel had been open for just about a year ( opened in March 2021). On the Hilton website it states that this hotel :Hotel complies with ADA Guidelines and this hotel complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Since this is a new hotel, we were surprised and disappointed to find that it is not really handicapped accessible for someone with a mobility disability. I ran into numerous “challenges” throughout my stay at this hotel. The first problem that I encountered was getting into the hotel. The door from the garage into the hotel was so heavy that I had to wait to have someone else open it for me. There was no button available to push to get the door to open automatically. The ADA standards state that there must be an accessible entrance door to each building. [ADA Stds. 4.1.2(1)] As a matter of fact, all of the doors in this hotel, including the room door and the door to the public bathroom on floor 7, near the front desk lobby , were also very difficult /heavy to get open and lacked automatic openers. I did not encounter any automatic doors anywhere that I went in this hotel! When there was no one around to help me, it was a painful struggle to open the doors. The public restroom in the lobby area near the restaurant is another ADA nightmare. There is a “handicap accessible” stall that is equipped with grab bars, but this stall is much too narrow for a wheelchair, walker, or rollator to fit in! Therefore, it is not really accessible for a person with mobility disabilities who needs to use one of these assistive devices. ADA Standards (4.17.3) indicate that if the accessible toilet is in a stall, it should measure at least 60" wide and 56" deep to be large enough so these assistive devices can fit in the stall, and it was not!! Our guest room in the Hilton Aventura – room 1226 – was represented to be accessible since it had a roll-in shower and had a pull-down shower seat attached to the wall at one end of the shower. However, the arrangement in the shower does not meet the ADA requirements for an accessible shower. The distance from the seat to the shower valve is too far. The shower controls cannot be reached from the seat. This violates the ADA Standards for hotels which state that the shower controls should be positioned within reach of the provided seat. ADA Standards (4.21.5) state that the faucet controls and shower wand should be positioned on the wall along the side of the shower seat so they are operable from the folding shower seat or from a shower wheelchair. As a result of the distance, the person sitting on the seat cannot control the water temperature and does not get a full spray of water when using the hand-held shower wand. Also, it was too hard to change the height of the shower head if you did not want to hold onto the wand. Another problem with the arrangement of items in the shower was that the caddy that holds the soap, shampoo and conditioner was placed high on the wall in the middle of the shower, out of reach of anyone sitting on the shower seat. Whoever was responsible for assuring that this new hotel complies with the ADA standards seems to have ignored the standards and put aesthetics above practical use by a person with disabilities. I have read that approximately 61 million Americans are living with disabilities today. I would think that owners of hotels, especially new facilities, would not want to discriminate against all of these travelers. The Hilton Aventura is a lovely new hotel but unfortunately people with disabilities may find it difficult to stay at this facility. Before booking here, call the hotel to make sure that you will be able function in your room and in the common areas.…
Great stay in great location. Large room, great fitness center, large lobby bar area and nice restaurant. All the staff were highly accommodating to my needs. Only complaint is the lack of explanation to amenities throughout room and entire hotel. No info in room or in the hilton honors app. Nespresso in room no instructions either. All worked out but a few easy tips would be helpful
I only had the chance to stay here for One night yet everyone was extremely acomodating and helpful theoughout our stay. I want to give special thanks to Tomas, that everythime that me and my family had dinner and lunch he was extremely knowledgeble about the menu and extremely welcoming and also to Cameron that checked us in. I hope we will be able to stay at this property again in the near future.
Checked in with a group of 15 from UK once we'd found the reception on the 7th floor. We were on a corporate booking paid for by my employer, all of us got asked to leave credit card details, cards were getting charged $700 each "you're going to get it back" said the little man with a badge. Not the point, some didn't have credit cards some didn't have credit on their cards and others have been victims of scams doing this same practise in other Hilton hotels, the curt response was you're not staying here tonight then. This was eventually resolved when "the manager" backed down but totally unnecessary. The hotel room was ok. If you want a hot shower set your alarm 10 mins early as hot water takes a while to get to the 12th floor. Talking of early alarms Breakfast is not buffet but fully waitress served, you can't even get a drink for yourself, this is all very good if they had the required amount of staff to make this a success but they don't so get up early if you're on a deadline, I had one b/fast out of 7. Food at the bar was ok and Thomas the barman was the saving grace for this hotel, making it almost worth $8 a can. On checkout they tried to charge me for Wifi even though it was included by my employer.…
All of the grout in our room was completely saturated with black mold and the entire back wall of our shower was covered in pink slime bacteria. I spent the first hour of our stay spraying it with ammonia off the housekeeping cart and used my freaking toothbrush to clean it as I’m very sensitive to mold. I couldn’t believe how much there was considering it’s a practically new hotel. It was absolutely disgusting.
Like too many places everywhere, they are severely short-staffed and the ones there are not fully trained. When we called to get wine glasses for the room, we were assured someone would be dispatched. But, no one ever showed up.
Excellent service and accommodations. Everything was fresh and clean. Staff were friendly, engaging and very helpful. Pool area clean with towels provided and plenty of poolside lounging options. Onsite restaurant and Starbucks were great!
