I recently made two trips to Wekiwa and I enjoyed the park greatly. I saw plenty of wildlife, the park is clean, the trails are well marked and there are many options to choose from. There is also a spring to swim in, and kayak rentals available. There are picnic tables and this would be a great option for a...

We visited on a Sunday arriving about 10.30am so there was already a line up of cars at the entrance, but they were as efficient as they could be in getting cars into the park. Well signposted and some lovely natural and unspoilt (peaceful) area's - also a few natural trails. The spring - swimming area - was very busy...

Campground easy to park, level good size pads. Campgrounds and trails clean and well maintained. Shower house clean and in good working order. There is a large amount of wildlife. We saw deer, turkey, turtles and many birds.

This park is very nice. The Springs are a great place to go. If you want to go on a weekend, go right when it opens, or you are looking at at least an hour wait at the entrance. The entrance, where you pay to enter, only has 1 lane. So, if you camping, like I was, you are forced...

I really would had loved to camp at one of the primitive sites here when i lived close by. I used to put my canoe in and make 3 mile out and back for a total of 6 mile day trips with a friend. i caught bass, and swam in the water. We also saw alligator most times.

This is a great camp site, especially for those of you who don't want to just sit by your campsite and relax (though of course you can do that too)! Nearby hiking, kayaking, and swimming in the springs are easy activities that can quickly fill your days up. Note that it appears some sites are setup for sewer, while others...

Absolutely beautiful place to kayak! Great place to lay out and have a couple of drinks too. Would recommend this to people visiting to Florida who want to get away from the parks in Orlando would very much enjoy this area.

The place is amazing and beautiful there is plenty outdoor activities to engage in. Fishing, canoeing, horse stables, tail hiking, and so much wildlife to enjoy. On a separate note.. this location also has some of the best looking facilities you can ask for when camping.

Great place to enjoy nature on trails ranging from 8.5 to 21.7 km, while there are many shortcuts to get you to a nice spot on a river side, otter camp, or a fire place. Don't miss Lake Prevatt for a swimm in absolutely clean watter.

My husband and I rented a tandem Canoe (big mistake). We argued the entire way back because I was in the rear. Fellas if you love your wife or maybe just want to have a "team building" exercise in your relationship get a tandem canoe! LOL, all in all it worked out to be a great day! There is tons...
