We wish we had. We were drawn to the good reviews - the old Florida experience appealed to us. Reservations are made only by telephone and no written confirmation could be provided. Requested a pet friendly room on the second floor and was assigned #24. Told it was a large corner room. I expected it to be $189 but when...

Great stay, huge condo like rooms with screened in porch facing the river. Very comfortable bed. Highly recommend. They have a small breakfast in frig of muffin and yogurt. A pool and nice outside seating.

Would stay again. Agree with other reviews - not for everyone. Great location but when your property hangs out over the water ( and for a long time) you're not going to have a spiffy uptown Hilton experience. Friendly folks. Good food and outstanding breakfast with room. Great views of shrimp/fishing/tour boats on river. Close to quaint downtown shops. Room...

I have read many reviews for this hotel. Some are laughable. A lady was unhappy with the restaurant service at Caroline's so they left and went next store to the "Boss Oyster" and spent $200.00, The owner couple own both Caroline's and Boss Oyster so thank you very much......... Admittedly this facility hasn't changed in the 10 years that I...

First of all, Apalachicola is an old Florida fishing village. If you enjoy history, there's tons of it here. We found many places to explore...museums, cemeteries, old, historic homes. Friendly folks everywhere you go. Yes, the Apalachicola River Inn could use a little work here and there, but being from Florida we understand the upkeep it takes for properties on...

Nice location, easy walking distance to town, and nice views from second floor balcony...otherwise would have been less stars than they give options for! Very worn down property, girl at reception area was like a drill Sargent in terms of friendliness, and we spotted cockroach in lounge area. Worst of all, room filled with little flying bugs at night...attracted by...

First time in this hotel, and I must say the last, nightmare started on arrival, after getting quoted a rate on the phone, on arrival the rate just went up $50, on asking the question why, i was told the surrounding properties are dearer than us, I had asked the girl on the telephone for a confirmation email but she...

Now I say that because it was perfect for a get-away-several-days to escape TV, noise, news, and be well taken care of in an unpretentious, southern way in a little town that time almost forgot. I can testify, you won't get any better service from housekeeping, restaurant, or office staff anywhere . My fellow man and our CTC (constant traveling...

An outstanding find that feels like a real old time fishing town. Outward appearance is deceiving but the rooms are nicely done and clean. Room opened to a balcony on the river. Bozz Oyster house is connected with fresh grilled oysters . A fun place to stay and a nice walk to a quiet downtown with excellent shopping

My husband and I stayed here two nights for a long weekend trip. The view is great, the bed is comfortable, things were (mostly) clean and the location is great. If you are looking for five star accommodations this place isn't for you but if you want a comfortable room with walking distance to everything in town it's great. The...
