We are spending three nights here in the B&B. It's a great location, plenty of parking, easy to walk downtown to the Historic Sites and museums. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are full of Southern hospitality. There was always cold water available, cookies at 3pm, and Friday and Saturday evening a small...

Friendly welcome by Crystal, with coffee and biscuits. Comfortable bed. Really poor breakfast. Cleaning could be improved - plastic bag from previous guests and plenty of dust under the bed. Door knob on front door not screwed on. In general it seemed overpriced and we were disappointed.

Stayed in the main mansion, and we were really pleased with our visit. Very friendly staff, large comfortable rooms with lots of character, and really nice and tasty sit down breakfast. The location is great in that it is just a short walk to the quaint downtown area. They could us a bike rack for guests to lock up their...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coombs House Inn. Would go back and would recommend it to others. Enjoyed the tea, cookies, and cheese and crackers in the afternoon. We stayed in the main house and the room was very comfortable as well as the be.

Loved it!! This is an amazingly beautiful old house. So solidly built that the 110 year old stairs and floors don't creak. The evening social tells the Coombs House History and offers excellent wine tasting and the staff is very accommodating. The rooms are large and very nicely appointed. The hot breakfast is excellent. We'll be back!!

We have been coming here for years, and we are very sad to say we won't be back. We woke up this morning at 6:00am to me getting bit. I got out of bed and looked and spotted a bug and blood on the sheets. We weren't sure at first if it was a bed bug, so we looked it...

We had the best time in this town and our stay at the Coombs House was one of the highlights of our trip. Very clean and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and since we were here three night we got to sample it several times. The staff was very helpful.

If you are looking for a sweet coastal town to explore swing to this Inn and check out Apalachicola, Florida. So small that auto spell does not know it. Great walking town of yesteryear with shops and eateries. And one gentleman that we met noted that he enjoyed the shops outside benches for the nonshopper to enjoy! One more note...

The location was central to fun places like Wakulla Springs and St. George Island along with Panama City Beach. Each day of our stay featured a different sort of good times. Also we had time just to lay back and enjoy the hospitality of this great inn.

My husband surprised me with an anniversary trip to Apalachicola and a weekend stay at the Coombs House. We stayed in the "Heavenly 11" suite, which is located in a home a block from the Coombs House. The king poster bed was a beautifully carved work of art. The room was fairly large with a fainting couch and chair to...
