People very friendly, great location, but this property is badly in need of restoring, particularly in the Jasmine Room where we stayed. Tiny bathroom, with no place to place things. Shower curtain was falling off of rusted hooks. wood floor was sticky underfoot. Ick!

We were on our way from New Orleans to Miami. Yes, this is a little out of the way, but well worth the drive. Excellent recommendation for dinner, and the breakfast was great. The rooms are charming, and the beds comfortable.

Nine rooms in the main house with several in a 2nd building. Big bedrooms well decorated. Porches to sit on. Nice dining room. We enjoyed our stay. This location is a short walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Not recommended for young children.

After a week in Siesta Key, we took the drive up the nature coast/Big Bend area. Our gps took us to the 1st Coombs Inn (I didn't know there were two buildings). After going in the front door, up one set of beautiful stairs, down another and out a side door, I found a lady in the laundry room who...

Coombs has three separate buildings located close to one another. We stayed in the "mansion" in the attic room - two twin beds, low ceilings, and a step up in the bathroom. This room is not for tall people or for those who have to get up frequently in the middle of the night. No elevator so we had to...

We were here during the weekend when people had evacuated from the east coast of Florida because of Matthew. As a result, they were totally booked. We were fortunate to have been checked in by Crystal, who was welcoming, funny, and very efficient. She gave us some good tips on eating out, mainly that we needed to hurry before the...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Coombs Inn. The staff was greeted us when we got there and was very helpful. She offered us a drink, went over the guest procedures and told us what we would have for breakfast the next morning. Our room was very clean and absolutely beautiful. We had a jacuzzi suite and...

We came to the coast for a family wedding and looked forward to a brief getaway. The place is gorgeous. The staff is very sweet and welcoming. Unfortunately, there is no peace and quiet. The beds are beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed in Azalea 3 and it was freezing cold and no thermostat. The bathroom was TINY! There was...

The lady Crystal, who took my last minute booking, was extremely helpful and nice. The room was nice, very old mansiony, it was spotless clean, but there was a cobweb on my poster bed, and the bathroom was completely open to the bedroom, toilet was in a very small closet type when jacuzzia tub and the separate shower was weirdly...
