The staff at Coombs House Inn are just wonderful. The breakfast is super! Everyone goes beyond the call of duty to make the guest feel welcomed. However, the Inn is not clean. It needs a very deep cleaning. Draperies are very dusty and appear not to have been cleaned in a very long time. Floor vents in bedroom were very...

The town is delightful. The beaches are white sand that goes for miles. The seafood particularly oysters, shrimp, flounder, and scampi all caught locally. Up the Creek our favorite raw bar on the water. The inn is charming, rooms are well decorated and service is good. Only problem is that it is on main road and quite noisy. Would recommend

Nice place. Antique, comfortable rooms, decent breakfast. Wine & cheese at tea time. Nice hosts and some fine porches to relax on. Plus good value within easy walking distance to town. Town has funky shops, decent bars, and wonderful seafood. If you need an "oyster-fix", this is the town to be in.

Friendly, but very busy, hosts. One went out of her way to make sure everything was settled. Two different buildings, both are genuine historical buildings. Close to business district. Quaint and picturesqe harbors for photographers. Area known for it's seafood did not disappoint.

Beautiful home, which I love, but I froze that night. I don't think there are separate heating controls - at least I couldn't find on in my room. I put on one of the complimentary bathrobes and covered myself with all the available covers to get warm. Even though it is March, the rooms still get chilly at night.

This our 4th stay and not what it used to be. Less than friendly greeting...we were early, but come on! Frayed towels with holes - seriously. Breakfast - quiche that must have had a salt shaker dropped in it. Oh yeah, we had to request toilet paper :(

We loved our night in Apalachicola and at the Coombs House Inn. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, wonderful second floor veranda to watch the world go by and great breakfast. The evening talk about the oyster fishing and the history of the Coombs Inn was very enjoyable as we sipped our complementary white wine and ate crackers and cheese....

Our Coombs in experience was nothing short of amazing! Our King Jacuzzi Suite was immaculate and the staff were so accommodating and full of Southern Charm, even then cleaning ladies! The breakfast was so delicious, juice, coffee, casseroles, etc! Thank you Coombs Inn! We look forward to returning every year for our Anniversary!

We spent about a week in Apalachicola, and five nights at Coombs. First of all, the staff is outstanding. They made accommodations for our motorcycles and trailer which is often difficult at a B&B. That included towels to wipe them dry after a rainy night. Breakfasts were excellent. Room was clean, bath was well stocked, kitchen was more than adequate....

The house is beautifully furnished and the room, though small, was very comfortable. We were very well looked on arrival. Our one complaint was breakfast. They ran out of eggs and we had to made do with just toast. Also the coffee was very watery. When we complained, the attitude of the staff was disappointing to say the least.Rather than apologise they went...

Thank you for your review. The Coombs Inn & Suites strives to make every guest stay enjoyable. We have a rather lavish breakfast including cereal (both hot and cold), fresh baked goods and fruit, to name just a few options. We apologize that for an unforeseen circumstance you were unable to enjoy one of the egg based casseroles.
