My husband bought a package deal for my birthday weekend, thinking he was getting good value at about $159 a night, but when we opened the door and saw the room, we knew we'd been had. On the back side of the motel, the room had a view of ... a retaining wall semi-covered with lattice trellises and swimsuits hung...

The staff at the Seaport Village Inn were helpful and accomadating for our large group. I have been coming to Avalon since I was a child and for the past ten years have rented a condo for my family. This year we could not stay for a whole week, so we chose this hotel for our four night trip. Our...

I must say the service is the best about this hotel; the staff is so kind and helpful, always trying to make you feel comfortable, you can ask them about interesting points, tourist attractions, restaurants or even some especial kind of tours like going to the island's inside or take a tour in this machines called SegWays, and you may...

I booked this online and the specials included the boat and what was supposed to be an ocean view room. Well we were placed in a room facing some construction equipment in the back of the hotel. The door would not lock until my husband fiddled with the door jamb as the plate was loose, the outlet in the bathroom...

For those of you who want to do more with your time on Catalina, and not just stay in your hotel room, this is a great place to stay. They have a complementary breakfast so you can eat and head out and spend your time sight seeing or on the beach. They even have segway rentals on sight for those...

I went to Catalina on a personal retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. I knew I wanted a place off the main drag and up the hill a bit - which Seaport Village Inn is. While the original room I was offered didn't suit me (main level right next to the hot tub with...

I took my husband here for his birthday after searching for the "perfect" hotel and helicopter ride I thought I had found it. WOW was I mistaken! The pictures were less then truthful and for the amount of money I spent this should have been an extremely nice hotel (the heleicopter flight was great both there and back at least)....

Plain and simple, this is an old, run down hotel. My room #206 was shabby at best. A crappy, noisy a/c unit and uncomfortable bed mad for sleepless nights, Good advice to travelers would be to stay at one of the hotels on Crescent. Really good advice to travelers would be to Avoid Catalina all together. "Islandbilly" locals, no ammenities,...

I requested the magazine of Catalina Island from the Catalina Chamber and looked into the hotels that offered packages that included the boat over from Newport Beach. I chose the Seaport Village Inn based on price and location. The hotel's mini bus picked us up at the dock and drove us the mile or so to the Inn which is...
