No phone service or website. Old answering machine never responds just disconnects your call. The room lacks amenities like a decent wifi connection or mini fridge. It is in need of some maintenance. The ice machine on the 6th floor was broken so you had to go to 2nd floor. The view is great but that is all. It is overpriced room furniture is dilapidated . Tv worked off and on Very overpriced i

I tried to call multiple times, but they do not answer. Rooms are run-down, views are horrible. Would not stay again. Front desk service is very abrupt. Does not feel safe to stag here, as you can see from the picture, there are holes in the armchair.

So, I was actually terrified to book and stay here due to all the reviews - but I’m so glad I went forward with it. First, it was considerably cheaper than the other options on Travelocity. Second, every time I interacted with the staff they’ve been pleasant and helpful. Third, sure the room is ‘kind of’ basic/simple … but it is VERY nice in comparison to the reviews. The place is clean, has clearly been updated, bathroom totally renovated, etc. Fourth, ppl were complaining about the outlets … but, at least in my room, there is one directly by the bed. I’ve got zero complaints at all. So…. Maybe I’m getting the VIP or maybe different management. Regardless, I’d be happy to stay here again.

Interesting mix of good and disappointing. First the good. Loved the location, easy walk from the dock, early morning coffee shop and a full service grocery store, just a couple minute walk away. The room was really clean (although the bathroom is super dated) and the view from the 6th floor balcony were great. The disappointing was a longer list. Outlets in the room were minimal, especially since they have clearly done a bit of a refresh on the rooms, or at least the room we were in. Some of the improvements were incomplete, like baseboards missing from the room (room 305) Noise from one room to another was significant, but other guests were pretty courteous and the hotel was quiet by 10. The 6th floor balcony that was a great place for sunset, but was locked in the morning, so don’t plan on starting your day with coffee and a view. The photos of that patio and the lobby certainly don’t look the way they do in their promotional photos. Based on the way they look now, those spaces feel staged for the photos. But my biggest issue was the feeling of security at check in. The staff was speaking Spanish about our reservation and assigned room very openly at the front desk. I could clearly understand what they were saying. As someone who works in the hotel, that is a significant guest safety concern and a really good indicator of the lack of professionalism the staff needs to take it to the next level. I feel the stay was ok, but not a stay that would inspire me to suggest others stay here, which is a bummer because there is such great potential with this property.

Room Tip: Don’t expect amenities, be self sufficient and bring your own pillow, theirs are not so good.

Do you enjoy staying in Motel 6's that haven't been updated since 1978? IF so - than this hotel is for you! The bathrooms are tiny boxes filled with 2 colors of mauve tile, taking you straight back to a roadside motel in the 70s. The "air conditioner" is a wall unit that is sit directly at face level, so you have air (not necessarily cold air) blown right into your face as you sleep. But don't worry, the beds are so uncomfortable and the window unit is so loud, you won't actually have to worry about getting any real sleep. All in all, this is a truly bottom end motel with no amenities. Pretty good location though. You only have to walk 5 or so minutes from the port. So it's got that going for it.
