This wonderful 5- bedroom B&B home is located about two blocks from the main shopping area in Avalon. The rooms are clean, include a TV, fireplace, full bath, and some of the rooms also have DVD capability (they have many to choose from). Breakfasts, prepared by owner Kathleen, are delicious. And they also feature wine and light appetizers in the...

We went with friends and had a wonderful time as Kathleen was a great host (helpful at every step) and on top of this is an amateur astronomer who led us on an exceptional exploration of the night sky over Avalon Bay. One of our favorite B&B's experiences!

This is a wonderful family run B&B. Roger was on duty the week we were there and he was so accommodating and welcoming. We had the Garden Room on the ground floor, which was great because my husband's knees don't like the stairs! This room was immaculate, charming, comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was simple and...

We rented two rooms at the Old Turner Inn. The beds were incredibly comfortable--reminded me of the beds we slept in on a Norwegian cruise one summer. The Inn is conveniently located and Kathleen does a great job seeing to the comfort of her guests. The breakfast was wonderful too. I highly recommend this B & B.

I loved every minute. From the moment we walked in to the minute we left, there was just warmth and welcome all around. Kathleen and her family have been on the island a long time (since childhood?) and know everything to know about the island. She gave my fiance and I great recommendations. The trip wouldn't have been the same...

On April 2nd 2015, my wife, daughter and I stayed at this lovely inn. Kathleen was able to accomodate us for a night's stay in the master suite. The suite was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hospitality provided by the inn and enjoyed the breakfast provided (we missed the appetizers at night due to late arrival and check-in). The...

Old Turner Inn is what a bed and breakfast should be: charming, comfortable accommodations; very nice rooms and amenities (bedside candy, sherry); inviting public area (parlor, breakfast porch); pleasant, helpful staff (Roger); and BREAKFAST!!!! It's so refreshing to stay at a bed and breakfast where the breakfast isn't cereal and juice, or Costco muffins. Homemade bread pudding was a such...

wonderful on all counts - great room, homey and comfortable with real California art on the walls. Kathleen has a great history with her parents and grandparents on the Island. Great stories! You don't get that individual touch, authentic experience at a 'corporate' hotel. No false Glam. Best hostess ever, helpful and full of information. and she makes a killer...

The Old Turner Inn is just a few hundred yards from the Green Pier and all that makes up Avalon. It offers a glimpse of everyday Avalon life from morning and into the night. It is only a few hundred feet from most tour and activity departures and just a little further to the shopping and nightlife. Kathleen and company...
