I stay at this hotel every time we go to Disneyland or the Anaheim area. Every one there is so nice and helpful. The hotel is very clean and safe feeling. The breakfasts are great with a big variety. And the breakfasts are free. A great place to stay with a family.

I stayed at this hotel in Aug 2013 with my two daughters (10 year olds). This hotel is nothing special but then again, not a dirt bag either. It's a couple steps up from a motel. Bad: it's old...carpet old and musty, towels rough and dry, linen/bedding is rough and beds are not comfortable, furniture is chipped and old (drawers...

The hotel was within good walking distance to Disneyland. Amenities were minimal and rooms were sadly run down and in serious updating. carpet was stained and dirty looking as well as bed covering. we stayed in a suite which included bunk beds for the kids and a sofa couch. you couldn't move around in the kids room with the sofa...

First stayed here back in Aug 2011 and the only complaint I had on that trip was the front desk staff were somewhat on the harsh side. We decided to stay here again as we knew where we were going and what we were getting.. This time however, staff were awesomely friendly, helpful and welcoming - one friendly staff member...

What a fantastic trip! We stayed here for 3 nights to visit Disney and also ventured to Universal (about an hours drive). The location is fantastic, we had views of Disney from our window, the hotel staff are friendly and the hotel itself is very clean and welcoming. We would recommend this hotel very highly. The only thing which prevents...

I spent a lot of time reviewing the hotels near Disneyland Resort and decided on the Desert Palms after reading good reviews and seeing how close it was to the parks. Here are my thoughts: Room: We stayed in one of the Kalahari Family Suites with our two sons for 4 nights. The room was laid out well so they...

I had the unexpected pleasure of staying at the Desert Palms late June of 2013. I was part of a group of college students whom were participating in a business competition just a couple of blocks away at another hotel. The staff were able to accommodate our group of 45+, no fuss. The breakfast was good enough to get you...

Stayed 5 days, was concerned at first from reading some of the reviews, but was very satisfied after seeing for myself that it's better than the some of the reviews. Breakfast was ok, but could of had more flavor. Otherwise very happy. No noise in the hallways, slept very comfortable. Would stay again.

We just took our first family trip to Disneyland and the Desert Palms Hotel was a great place to stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The variety of breakfast each morning was nice for the kids. It is very convenient for walking to Disneyland. About a half mile from doorstep to gate. Checkout was as easy as saying goodbye....

My teenage daughter and I spent 4 nights at the Desert Palms Hotel. Fabulous location, just a five minute walk to the Convention Center and 10 minutes to Disneyland. Loved the free parking in the garage under the hotel. We were especially concerned about safety, and felt quite safe at all times.....even at night when walking back from Disneyland. Hotel...
