It was comfortable enough. Electricity went out in the night and the toilet ran all night. Tried to call to the front desk several times, even the reservation line tried to call, no answer. Fixed the electric.. Very nice though.
The Days Inn by Wyndham is a very simple, but efficiently operated hotel. The structure looks pretty old, but the franchisee has attempted to enhance the atmosphere with hanging planter boxes and paint. Notably, the rooms have plantation shutters which conceal the exterior light. Flat panel TVs and A/C units seem well maintained; the mini-fridge and microwave functioned well. The biggest inconvenience will be parking as space is limited to about 15 cars. However, staff is very amenable to helping with on street parking, or any other request within reason. As is typical of down-scale Wyndham properties, the breakfast consists of a brown bag to-go with light snacks and fruit. Perhaps this is a hold over of COVID protocols. A family on vacation could easily spend 2-3 nights here, since Main Street with a multitude of eateries is but 30 feet away. Guests wanting amenities like a swimming pool or dining room would be better served in a higher end hotel.…
Just sent this. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ When I was making my reservation for this current stay I applied and was approved for a Wyndham Rewards Visa. When I checked out on line, the new Wyndham card was used. That was great. Then, I arrived to check in and they asked me for the card. I told them it's a new account and asked if they could check it somewhere. Nope. There's my first negative. I'm a Hilton Honors member and always stay at Garden Inn. This time my daughter wanted me to stay at Days Inn in Alhambra. Oh my goodness. First the credit card issue. Then the room is average at best. To change the TV channel I have to be within six feet even though it has an RF extender glued on the wall under the TV. That's two. Third, the save the planet with a towel is great. But, the tub has a continuous drip. Fourth, when people walk by the room the vibration is awful. If they're rolling a bag, forget it it's like a freight train. And finally, I came back Saturday night/Sunday morning and there was no parking. I went in to the desk and was given a parking pass so I would be able to park on the street. That was nice, then I was told I would have to move my vehicle by 10 AM. Don't know why. I asked if he was sure even on a Sunday? he said yes. So much for relaxing. I have to say, the probability of me staying at another Wyndham property is very low.…
Very clean all employees were super nice. The room had every item I could possible need. Check in and out was very easy can't wait to go back. I will be visiting again real soon. Thanks for your outstanding customer service.
Nice place to stay when you need to attend meetings downtown, fairly easy to get to. Building is old, but service is good, location excellent as many restaurants and store are within walking distance. Price is right too.
Stayed here for a couple of days for Rose Parade over New Years. Since I had made reservations almost a year prior I was concerned about reservations since it didn't go through Days Inn Reservations. PK was wonderful though as I had called days before to confirm and he assured me everything was all set. I had also made reservations for family coming in from Indiana. They were very accommodating and what a great surprise when we found a bottle of champagne, candies and sodas in the refrigerator with a nice note wishing us a happy New Year! Although there isn't much parking, we had no trouble finding spaces. The area is very nice and clean, plenty of restaurants nearby and movie theater. Will definitely stay here again if we attend the Parade next year as it is close to parade route.…
Close to location I was visiting. Great walking town and easy access to surroundings. Access to Starbucks, variety of food choices and shopping. I would stay here again due to location and accessibility.
I had to park on the street two nights about a block away due to lack of packing spaces. What they call breakfast is a joke. ( two loaves of bread, a toaster and some jelly. one choice of cereal. watered down juices. That is it.) HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY ADVERTISING THAT THEY SERVE BREAKFAST. The room are big, but they are about thirty years outdated. patches of mismatched wallpaper. the cloth chair in the had stains and smelled. I went the first day and got air freshener that I sprayed every time I entered and left the room This is a smoking hotel, do not be fooled I passed by several rooms that had a very strange smoke odor in them. They attempt to deodorize them by just leaving the door and window open. This is pitiful and actually witnessed them doing this on different occasions for a couple of days. The bathroom needed a good pressure washing to get it clean. STICKY floors in the bathroom. I could go on but do not book this hotel.…
After stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights(Sun, Mon.), got a fraud center message on Wednesday of $600.00 spending in Office Depot DVRS (purchasing on the phone). I have no idea where the store is. I remembered that on the day checking in, a young Indian looking manager at the front desk requesting and recording my bank card info for incidental charges. That was the only time I showed the card to somebody. I wonder if there is anybody else has had the same experience. As to breakfast, there is only oatmeal, a couple of cold serials, bananas, oranges, milk, a couple of juices, coffee, I din;t see eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc..
Hotel is average with the Basic amenities, and their facilities are quite old and due for renovation. However, we chose to stay here because the location is GREAT, as there are a lot of food places within walking distance
