What a find! Road trip from Atlanta to New Orleans, 1/2 way point is this awesome B&B near Andalusia, just off Rt 65. Quite countryside, beautifully restored home, innkeepers are warm, friendly; rooms are immaculate and the whole of the house is wonderfully decorated - one of Laura's many accomplishments. Breakfast was interesting for me because I don't eat grits!...

Ricky & Laura are precious and so sweet! My husband and I have visited for our Anniversary and again to celebrate my husband's Birthday. It's always clean, comfy and peaceful. The breakfast is delicious! This is definitely my go-to place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Love it!

What a wonderful place to stay...my husband and I absolutly enjoyed our break from our busy lives. A beautiful B&B thay we would recommend to everyone we know. The rooms were immaculate and their porch swing was our ultimate favorite part. We had his/her massages directly in our room. Absolutly heaven.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, clean, and slow-paced getaway after a past year of stress. The Sweet Gum Bottom was exactly what we were looking for during our two night stay. This B&B is in rural South Alabama where there are very little traffic noises and no sirens- the only noises we heard were wind in...

Just wanted to respond by saying thank you for choosing us as your getaway spot! It was a pleasure meeting you both and I am so happy that you were able to relax and enjoy each other! There is enough "stuff" to deal with every day that you need to step back and slow down a bit, have time to...

My husband and I were given this overnight stay as a gift while down in Andalusia and spent Valentines night there. Wow, we were bowled over for sure! From the minute we walked in to the time we left we were treated like family. Ricky and Laura go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. The room...

My husband and I are not the B&B type, but our stay there was very relaxing and private. The house is beautiful and the story behind the moving and restoring of the lovely old house was really interesting. We had a gourmet breakfast. We stayed in the room at the front right in the home and our only complaint would...

My husband planned this as a surprise get away & it is everything i ever expected & more. The owner Mrs. Laura was more than hospitable. The bed was decorated with rose petals, the bedside table was adorned with home made white chocolate covered strawberries & grapes! A bottle of grape juice was chilling in the bucket of ice &...

My husband & I stayed here for our anniversary & it was amazing! The property & our room was beautiful (Kennedy Anne Suite), and so romantic. We love how the 3 windows wrap around the head of the bed in that particular suite. And our room was immaculately clean, & the area was nice & quiet. The owners are very...

I was probably a little out of my element, as this is a popular wedding spot and of couples young and old, so I’m sure being a single traveler was definitely in the minority, but don’t let that stop you. This place is absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast, I can’t even begin to describe, I still think it’s the greatest breakfast...

We stayed here on the last night of a two week road trip around the Deep South and loved it. We were kindly upgraded to a better room at no cost, it had a hot tub which was lots of fun. The grounds were stunning and I can see why people choose this as a place to get married. The...

“We stayed in the Kennedy Anne Suite which had a comfortable King bed and a wonderful sofa. Bathroom was a bit small. I think the Bethany Dawn suite was very nice with comfy lounge chairs and a larger bath with Jacuzzi tub. The Lindsey Paige Suite had a cool contemporary vibe and a Jacuzzi in the room but the toilet was only separated from bed by a screen which I don't think I would like.”
