Stayed at the hay Adams for 5 nights during the winter storm in Washington. The hotel is well located opposite the White House and a short walk to the Smithsonian museums. Room was well appointed and the staff were very good. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for old Washington with impeccable service this is for you....

Wonderful hotel, good and gently service, beautiful, well located, beautiful bar, only the bathroom was not confortable. No doubt that will be our hotel in washington. Both concierges are very helpful.

Our stay at the Hay Adams was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The gym is kind of small, but other than that it's a very nice hotel. It's close to a lot of sites and the Renwick gallery. There is a nice restaurant onsite as well. I would recommend it...

The property is lovely if you are a fan of historic hotels. The room was comfortable, but know if you get a superior room, it will be small, and you will have an awful view of a decrepit old concrete office building and back alley. A squeaking floor from the room above did wake me up, but it is an...

Venerable and highly unique location - just across Lafayette Park from the White House make this location ideal for meetings/touring D.C. Is is an old physical property - so floors creak - traffic noise - voices in hallways leak in much more than modern property designs. But it also offers an intimate feel - not like other huge buildings -...

My first visit almost lived up to very high expectations. Great location, great staff, great and spacious rooms and a unique historic feel. That said, my street front seventh floor room was very noisy at night ... not sure why Also, I had a drink at the bar and the staff were on auto pilot. Nothing severe but they did...

Dear tally11111, Thank you for your review. I am disappointed to hear that you experienced some street noise and will certainly look into your less than acceptable bar experience. We hope you return to the hotel again so we may have a chance to live up to all of your expectations. Sincerely, Hans Bruland VP/General Manager
