I booked months ago but it was only when I checked in I found that most of the floors of the hotel were under major renovation. This renovation will impact your stay. There are several other options in the neighborhood . Check them out first

My husband and I strolled in to visit the hotel last night while we were actually staying at the Fairmont. We noticed the lobby and other areas were being renovated. It peaked our interest to keep looking around and as we were walking through the lobby we ran into a gentleman named Chris. He told us he was one of...

The hotel is pleasant enough but having stayed in equivalent 5 star hotels across the globe I was expecting more for my money. It was our Wedding Anniversary and the hotel did absolutely nothing despite requests from myself prior to our stay. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was a decent size but the bathroom was dusty....

We loved the hotel, from the moment we went in the understated lobby, though with the steps down from entrance with bags, we were kindly assisted by the doormen et al. We got kindly upgraded and were bowled over by the suite room and the cavernous bathroom! My daughter loved it and so did my wife. The Blueduck Tavern is...

If one was unfamiliar with the various Hyatt brands, they probably would think twice about this hotel. With that being said, I'm a huge Hyatt fan and very loyal customer. This is why I found the Park Hyatt a bit disappointing. Nothing majorly wrong (except the very annoying construction 8am-5pm), however there was nothing about this hotel that I felt...

I travel the world over and have been in numerous hotels. This hotel has panache. From our arrival, the bell hop was excellent, the reception was extremely friendly and professional. We were very kindly upgraded as a gesture for my partners birthday celebrations. The suite was very clean and spacious, it had 2 televisions, a huge and comfortable bed very...

We visited the Park Hyatt back in 2006 (see my review), 10 years ago when it first opened. It still has the elegance and service of a 5 star hotel....... Why not the 5 stars again? We were not informed by weekend jackhammer construction ALL DAY 2 floors above. The calm oasis became a migraine headache.....we had to leave our...

We must admit liking this group of hotels because they are luxurious but understated with excellent low key service and usually in great locations. The DC PH is no exception. We had a junior suite at the front for two nights.Modern, large bathroom with tub and open shower, plenty of good quality towels and toiletries.Comfortable king bed, excellent linens and good lighting.Dining...

Service was very attentive. Could not sit in restaurant and was directed to Lounge and Bar. Ordered two drinks, a beet salad and 12 oysters and before tip hit a tab of $90. a bit of shock but was happy I did not have an entree otherwise the meal would have escalated to even more. While price is an issue,...
