The hotel is in a good location, close to Metro station. Walking distance to many restaurants, specifically Founding Farmers, TGI Friday's, and Bertucci's.. Good service from front desk to doormen. Clean and neat rooms. Very quiet room on 3rd floor but no view at all (building next door).

On my way to West Virginia I decided to spend 24 hours in Washington DC; choosing the Hotel Lombardy for an overnight... I wish I had decided to stay longer; I just loved the slightly old world but authentic feel about this hotel! I will go back!

We had to travel to D.C. for requirements of my Australian Passport. We found Hotel Lombardy online after looking at several in the area. We settled on this hotel for location and price. We loved the decor and age of the hotel. It is a 1920s building with some old feel quirks, squeeky floors, etc. The staff were excellent and...

If you are looking for a decent stay in the foggy bottom area with access to virtually everything, then Hotel Lombardy is your place. The room was phenomenal, the bar and lounge was first class, the cafe was excellent, and the staff was personable and knowledgeable. The Lincoln/Vietnam/Korean war memorials are about a mile away, and there is plenty of...

The bar at the Hotel Lombardy is a secret location serving up great drinks in a secluded bar at the back of the hotel. The outdated furniture is a bit quirky but it is a nice quiet place to grab a drink with some other Foggy Bottom professionals. No one else knows this place even exists. Become part of the...

The hotel is perfectly located - 5min walk to the World Bank and 20min to the White House. The hotel has an antique décor and great period atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a large bathroom and extra storage room. However, the view was quite disappointing, with the room looking at an empty building about 5m away. The parking was...

Maybe its not fair writing about a great location for me, while I should comment on other points of the hotel, but for me location was just incomparable with everything else.Historic sites, restaurants like founding farmers, shops like whole foods, Kennedy Center, World Bank..everything so near. The staff(including bellboys) was excellent as was the service, clean rooms. I do think...

Excellent. Service, room, food...all superior. We had a deluxe king and it was clean and beautiful. The style is antique, but it is not old. The street noise is challenging but it wasn't overwhelming.

Such a precious, step back in time. A great location in the middle of all the action. I absolutely loved the louvered doors over each of the doors. The room, while charming, lacks in solitude. You can hear the neighbor beside you pee, the person above you walk and every car that drives by make noise. Still a great place.
