Everything at this hotel works very smoothly. The rooms are clean and have a few extra nice touches. The breakfast restaurant lets you move quickly if you're in a hurry, or dawdle if you've got extra time. The location is handy to all sorts of DC essentials. One moment stood out. I was at the hotel for a conference where... More

The JW is what you would expect from Marriott's higher-end brands - lively lobby, friendly and helpful service, comfortable rooms. The location in DC is incredible - all of the museums, mall, White House, etc are a short, easy walk. Overnight parking is pricey - $50/night + $9/night city tax. Other than that, we'd definitely stay here again for any... More

Lovely upscale Marriott. The amenities in the room were appropriate and the lighting was adequate. After being on the road for a couple of weeks it was terrific to be able to sleep in a bed with high quality bedding. We dined in the hotel, and each main course was delicious but the portions were small. Breakfast was the usual... More

We really wanted to love our stay here, but we had a very bad experience with the valet parking team which ruined the experience. I called the hotel after our stay and spoke with the manager, but she seemed like she didn't really care. She said the requisite apologies but I didn't think she cared. That would be fine if... I was here for a conference and it was a very nice hotel. The rooms are very nice. Very comfortable. They are generous with fresh towels and shampoos/conditioners/lotion. The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. Lots of levels and there are many spaces for conferences. The pool and exercise area is very nice too. The people are friendly and helpful. For... More

Ok, so listen, I'm a Platinum with Marriott, have been for years and I love this hotel. You won't go wrong here if you're looking for a nice hotel well located. However, if you are looking for a better service, especially if you are in the Executive area then you may want to consider another place. We had problems this... More

What you would expect from an upscale Marriott in downtown DC. Very plush with a very accommodating staff. Near the WH and Metro. Only drawback (like all of DC) parking is a problem. Take the Metro in from outside the city.

Convenient to many downtown attractions, included the National Theater (around the corner) and several monuments. The hotel was clean and well designed. Great first impression with staff greeting you outside. Rooms were clean and a nice size. The elevators take getting used to but once that happens, they are extremely quick (you will see what I mean if you go... More

You don't often get to stay on Pennsylvania Ave. like the other notable residents there, but this is one way you can. From the Concierge Lounge and some of the rooms you can see the Washington monument just like your neighbor at number 1600. Hotel has a nice "luxury" feel and quite a few amenities in the extensive lobby areas,... More

The staff at the JW Marriott was very helpful. My friend and I had no problems checking in or out. The room was very clean and neat. The view was not great but I think the hotel's location is the major draw, it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the White House and the Washington Monument. Parking was a... More

Thank you for your kind review. Hotel is situated in a very convenient location to visit museums monument and the White House. While I understand the parking is charged at a higher premium, it is right on par with all other hotels in the area. Thank you again for your kind review. More
