The hotel staff (except for front desk) are GREAT, to include their Security Staff.... my room was VERY QUIET, and if you don't want daily cleaning services they will respect that... the location is perfect for Tourism, and their breakfast buffet (Cabinet restaurant) is AWESOME and very good value for the quality of fair... Metro stop accessible from stairs within the hotel... easy, easy, easy.... this hotel is well worth the money should you want a nice vacation in the DC area... i do with they would upgrade their room sheets and pillows but you can't have everything i guess... Well Done Grand Hyatt!!!
The Grand Hyatt met my expectations and checked all of the boxes, convenience, comfort, warm and friendly environment, stunning, etc.; the experience was Grand. The Hotel is clean, the staff and valet were professional, kind, and courteous, and the ambiance is refreshing. The rooms are clean and very inviting. This is my second stay, and I will stay here again. I give this hotel an A+
My wife and I spent a few days in DC, before and after New Year's Eve. We were very happy with the hotel choice. Excellent location and, given that DC is quite walkable, we could walk around and visit quite a bit. The weather helped, too, with only one day of rain. The room was very nice, large and clean. Elegant hotel. Complimentary water by request from the concierge or reception. All functional in the room. Five elevators, all working without any problems for the entire stay. The only slight minus is the valet parking which was a little on the expensive side but all around downtown prices were comparable. At least the valet had in/out privileges, while the self parking did not. Nice French restaurant onsite. We do recommend this hotel.
Hotel was very clean, staff was very professional and friendly. This was my first business conference since COVID began, and I was pleased to see how clean the facility was. The room was very comfortable also, and location made it easy to walk to restaurants, museums, and Capital Hill.
Second time staying here. Hotel was clean. It’s a good conference hotel as it is large, with a good location and on the metro. If you’re traveling for leisure the hotel might not be the best option. Expensive for what you get. Rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are showing their age and are due for an upgrade. Club was nice but you need to pay of alcohol and limited snacks during the day. If you’re traveling for work this is a good choice but for leisure the hotel was pretty mundane and expensive
Hotel was extremely convenient to Capital Hill - right at metro stop. Staff were very courteous and accommodating. Restaurant wait staff were helpful and never felt rushed - could relax and enjoy our meal.
I stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC 1/28/22-2/1/23 for a business trip. The staff are friendly and available. The hotel is pristine clean. Walking disance to all the great sites of the city!
I am not a regular Hyatt customer but was impressed by the service level I experienced during my stay. Great service from the front desk at check-in and check out (a woman named "Tresor") I also appreciated the kindness of the parking attendants. They were very helpful with directions/instructions - one of them even walked with me to the a cross road and pointed me in the right direction.
This was a work conference located at the Grand Hyatt. The breakfast they served us was exceptional. The location was perfect and only 2 blocks from Metro center. I would stay here again next year. This is a very large hotel. My husband used the gym everyday and worked from the room while I was in meetings.
Great location, the gym was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and the room was very roomy. Wifi worked great and the food during our meeting was very good. Especially the breakfast. Some great restaurants in that area.
