We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and in short, the experience was beyond appalling. The rooms are noisy, small, dirty and very old. We had to call the reception daily to tell them that we have no hot water in the shower (sometimes twice a day). WIFI is free but doesn't work at all. If you're lucky, WIFI...

Great location. 25 min walk to the White House. Good quality shower supplies. Small but clean room. $5 breakfast- waffles, cereal, tea and coffee and orange juice only. Tiny tiny breakfast area. Would help if housekeeping staff was not having breakfast at the time the guests are. Cozy lobby.

I stayed at The Embassy Inn October 2015. My boyfriend and I had a small room that was clean comfortable and quiet. It was my first time to Washington DC and my boyfriend attended college in DC over 30 years ago. We spent most of our time out exploring. This location is great. In a really nice neighborhood. You can...

Just completed a three night stay at the Embassy Inn. I snagged this deal on Hotwire for $85.00 a night for a king room. Considering that the average hotel room in DC is well over $150.00, it's a bargain. Is it the Ritz Carlton? Obviously not...Here's my take.. PROS - Location, location, location. Location was perfect for us, halfway between downtown and our daughter's apartment. We skipped the hotel breakfast in favor of picking something up on our way into the city. Room was small, but the price was "reasonable" by DC standards.

Crumbling and small rooms in a wonderful location. My room had a broken lock, no peep hole, and an overused bed. I wouldn't stay here again. I let the front desk know about the door and they seemed surprised which is unusual since the room get cleaned every day.

my 2 teens & i stayed here april 13-16, 2016. compared to other hotels in DC for those dates, we found Embassy Inn VERY reasonable ($136+tax), esp. for the location - it's 1 mile due north of the White House, 1/2 mile from Dupont Circle, which i've heard is a very cool place (and has a metro station), an easy...

Service: Dolores and Brian were wonderful, doing the best they could with an aging property. The other staff were also very friendly and helpful. Room: The room was small and worn, but clean (not sure about that carpet, but the bathroom was immaculate) Room 401 had an interesting view of the street, and was quiet in the morning on the...

Stayed here for 2 nights but arrived very early and room wasn't ready, however receptionist Delores was wonderful and pointed out the lobby where newspaper, computer, drinks (water and I think coffee/tea) available; and said if I wanted to leave luggage and do sightseeing, that'd be fine. Room is not fancy but building was built in 1627 and has its...
