Stayed at PPH 2 nights during inaguaration and found it to be perfectly located between Union Station and Capitol Hill. Our 3rd floor room was on a front corner which provided a great vantage point for watching lots of activity including security (wow did we feel safe!), people, traffic, and vendors. It was great for watching but not so great...

Love this place and I stay there whenever I can. Very nice staff and the new rooms are very nice. I still liked the old rooms. Great stay and the hotel bar is the Dubliner. I am going there next week and cannot wait. Walking distance to the metro and Amtrak.

It is a very good hotel, with good, charming and attentive staff. The hotel itself is very clean and nice. I would give it 5 star, however they should consider offering breakfast in their rate, as the rate is not inclusive of breakfast and there is no kitchenette at all. Breakfast sold is a bit high in terms of price,...

Spent a lovely weekend at the Phoenix Park, in one of the more modest rooms. The renovation is spectacular, with retention of historic elements with terrific updates. Quality and beauty of the design, furnishings, lighting, as well as the bathrooms is delightful. Amenities like daily newspapers, coffee, and exercise room were appreciated. Even the room numbers and door plaques were...

This is one of our favorite hotels in DC. It is located within a 5 minute walk of Union Station. It has great access to shops and eateries. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. On our first visit we were given a room above the in- house restaurant (The Dubliner). At 4pm all was well. When we returned to our...

We had a room with a view to Union Station - great view but the windows are so thin you can hear all the noise from the heavy traffic in the street so we asked for another quiet room which the staff halped us with immediately. The gym is quite small, the rooms and bathrooms seem recently renovated.

We thank you for your visit and sharing your comments. The hotel is located in the middle of town on a very busy corner so one will always have some urban background noise. Rooms on the back of the hotel are the most quiet and guests can always request that as you suggest. We appreciate your business. David Hill General...

We stayed for two nights, two rooms for a family of 5. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly and helpful from front desk to doorman to cleaning staff. We did have a few problems with our room though. The heater at times made a burning oil smell that we called about and were told it had to do...

Thank you for your visit and sharing your comments. I am sorry you were bothered by the "burning" smell when the in room heating unit was switched on. This is the electric heating coil inside the unit and it was activated when the thermostat was turned up very high to provide additional heating so was working as it was designed...

I had the mixed privilege of arranging a weekend trip for my wife & daughters to go on a promised birthday excursion to explore museums in D.C. The mixed part was that I was not able to go along. I had a little difficulty at the very first getting the reservation established, but after the rate and dates were booked,...
