Stayed on a weekend in December. Location is awesome - one block from Union Station (an easy walk) and four blocks to the capitol. Small room - just barely enough room to walk around the bed, but well appointed with everything I needed. Wall mounted TV directly in front of the comfortable bed with four pillows and quality sheets and...

.....both in terms of facilities, rooms & location, especially for the tourist. Very close to Union Station and Capitol Hill. Also the tourist 'hop on and hop off bus, if you are into these types of tours, stops close by. Couldn't fault the place, brilliant staff..

We picked the Phoenix for it's close proximity to Union Station. We were traveling with 2 12 year olds and the food court in Union station is an attractive option for getting a quick bite to eat. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were great. We had a couple of issues with the room (refrigerator was not...

I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to Union Station. I did not know that 3 DC circulator buses leave from nearby areas. So, that was the bonus. I also did not know it was a historic properly. This was cool since they have those old pneumatic postal drops. They do not work anymore but it is cool to...

Opulent Capitol suite with panoramic views in charming, boutique property which is family owned. Seamless check in; nice, high quality bath amenities and sophisticated, comfortable furnishings. An all around "ten"

We were very pleased with The Phoenix Park Hotel...nice contemporary-styled renovation, very clean and super nice staff...we came for the weekend and the price was great. Rooms and baths are nicely appointed, but rooms are not large. However, the 2 of us were fine with it. Comfortable bed, sizable flat screen TV and overall very clean. Great bargain in my...

Our stay at The Phoenix Park Hotel was excellent. We came in on Amtrak and Union Station is just a block away, which made it super convenient, not just for the train but also for the Metro and casual restaurants. The hotel is also just blocks from the Capitol. All the facilities were pristine, including our room. The "queen superior"...

If you are looking for a spacious lobby where you can hang out, or large guest rooms, this is NOT the place for you, go to a chain hotel for those amenities. But if you are happy with a compact, European-sized guest room that has EVERYTHING you need: great bed and bedding, plush towels and bathrobe, free wifi & TV...

Booked the hotel through the conference organizer so that I would be able to use the shuttle bus. The price was reasonable for DC. The room was average in size and had been recently re-done. The bed and furniture were very nice as was the bathroom. There was a Expresso machine and newspapers in a small public room which was...
