We chose the Residence Inn Washington D.C./Capitol for our April Break because we wanted to use Marriott Reward Points and needed a suite for our family of four. I had read the reviews and was slightly concerned about the apparent lack of dining options, but booked it on faith. So glad I did! The daily, excellent buffet breakfast and 3...

Went for Cherry Blossom weekend and it was nice to have a refuge several blocks from the mayhem of the National Mall. Only about a 10 minute walk from the Air and Space Museum and the Capitol building, it is located near the tracks (def ask for an upper room near the front of the building). Clean and spacious, no...

We visited DC for 5 days during our spring break. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great every morning with a good selection of items. We got back in time to do the nighttime meal one night and it was delicious also. The area is surrounded by a lot of office buildings so it's a...

This is a great place to stay. 3 blocks south of independence avenue. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Pool and washing machine all good. But very few restaurants within walking distance and after a long day of touring that is what is required.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights on our recent trip to DC. We wanted something close to the mall and not too expensive. Unfortunately the time we booked most hotels within half mile of the Mall were at least $200. We got this hotel for $250 a night. Plus: - Free Breakfast. Always changing and ample food selection...

Here were the great things about this hotel - we loved the family movie nights with popcorn and soda, it was so close to the capitol and air and space, concierge was really nice and helpful, free breakfast was plentiful and varied, decent size room, kitchen facilities. Only issues were the hot tub which was broken throughout our stay, and...

The hotel was clean, the employees were very nice/helpful, the rooms were perfect for the over night stay. The breakfast in the morning was also very nice and they make you feel welcome. Will stay again and recommend this hotel in the local area for Spring break and for traveling into the DC area.

We picked this hotel because of its location to the metro and the mall museums. It was a wonderful location and very convenient to the blue line metro and to the east end museums and capitol, quick ride to the Smithsonian stop for the other museums. The staff was by far the greatest asset, Niko at the front desk was...

I stayed at this property this past weekend while I was in D.C for a good friend's book launch party. I choose hotels I stay at based on 3 things, Location, Pool & Spa amenities, and how nice the rooms are. In that order. I chose this hotel because I wanted to stay at a property that had an indoor...

First, I picked 4 stars but would pick 4.5 if I could. It was a great experience...just not FLAWLESS like I would expect a 5 star experience to be. The good stuff...the location is great for tourism. A short walk to the Capitol, Air & Space Museum and other sights on that end of the Mall. There is a Metro...
