The Mandarin Oriental is a great hotel for a weekend getaway. The service was top notch, and the restaurant had very good food. I will stay at the Mandarin Oriental on my next weekend get away. I can only speak highly about my stay at the hotel.

I love this hotel. It was a delightful experience from the moment I arrived. I was here with my daughter and it was truly a special treat. We ate outside at Muze, which was beautiful. There is a bit of airport noise (Reagan is near by) but it did not detract from our meal. We strolled after our meal in...

I stayed for three nights on a business trip with two other associates at the Mandarin knowing full well the chain's emphasis on service and expecting all of it. I wasn't the least bit disappointed by their Washington DC staff. At check in, the desk staff was friendly, polite and even seemed on some level to be expecting our arrival....

I believe it is true what some reviews say that this Hotel is more for the business traveler but I went for a family vacation and it was the perfect hotel. We have a 9 year old and the staff treated him like gold. The pool is the largest in DC and never that busy since the hotel is not...

Our first time in DC and first time in a Mandarin Oriental. We secured a good rate through Expedia and had a tremendous time. Nothing was too much trouble and all services, facilities and accommodation were excellent and quote comfortably surpassed other hotels. This was a luxury stay for us as we would normally choose alternative chains - we may...

My wife and I stayed for three days and really appreciated the location and quality of this hotel. Very walkable to all major sites and an oasis of pure luxury and quality. The hotel is top notch and the staff couldn't be more professional or welcoming.

Well appointed, quite and comfortable room and a large marble bathroom. We got a good price for this level of hotel, so great value for the price we paid. The location is not best for all purposes probably, but it's close to the National Mall. Taxis were plentiful right outside the door. Restaurant and bar.

The lobby and common areas are beautiful and elegant. Staff is extremely professional and helpful. Rooms are spacious - fabulous bathrooms. Location is off the beaten track. Fairly close to monuments. No restaurants in the immediate area. Not close to Georgetown, theaters, Dupont Circle. Seems more appropriate for conventions or business travelers than tourists.

I've visited this hotel before solo, but this time I got a chance to bring my family and explore Washington's museums and monuments. Firstly the location is amazing, not just for the museums but also with a pharmacy and sandwich shop just outside and in a quieter part of town. Reception and the concierge are great. The rooms are just...

I oftenly visit Mandarin hotels, but this one is not the most luxury of them. But the service and the cleanless is ok. From THE hotel iT is easy walking to THE highlights of Washington. Hotel is not to expensive. Good price/quality.
