Wow! What can I say? This was the most pleasant hotel stay I have ever had. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, the deep tub so relaxing, and the shower had better pressure than I have at home!! The view was amazing. Outside looking one direction was the Jefferson Memorial, the Pentagon and the Air Force Memorial. Looking the other way,...

Never again ! The rooms are not renovated, un acceptable to be called under the name of the mandarin oriental, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels the staff weren't 5 star quality, unexpected tax charges, extra beds were not expected, we had to upgrade to a suite just to add an extra bed we were told that we...

Old rooms, undesirable location, not up to Mandarin Oriental standards. For the price, there are at least a dozen better options in DC. Gym was not maintained. Food was poor. Rooms are tired; only bathrooms have been upgraded.

The Mandarin Oriental is a gorgeous hotel. The staff was very nice. The room was beautiful. The bathroom looked like a dream, huge shower, huge separate tub, just a huge bathroom. The prices for the bar were very expensive. But overall the nicest hotel I have stayed at.

Well appointed hotel in great location for sightseeing. Easy 15 minute walk to Mall, Smithsonian museums and 20 to Monuments. Easy 10 minute walk to Metro. Hotel restaurant and bar pricey but so is most of DC. Our room was on top 9th floor deluxe water view. View of Potomac and marina were ok. OUr room had 2 queen beds...

The hotel was pleasant and is wonderfully designed. You see a lot of famous political faces (if that matters to you) wandering out of the restaurant or the bar. Google Maps and Waze still don't make getting to the property simple. Bigger issue. I checked in, spoke briefly with the clerk, asked to pay for an upgrade, and gave the...

I have been here for a business meeting. I cannot review the rooms -they were all sold out. I ended up a 10 minutes walk away at the Holiday Inn Capitol Hill which was fine. The meeting location is easy to get to via taxi or walking. The staff is professional and helpful. The food was excellent from the coffee...

My wife, 5-yr daughter and I stayed for a couple of nights at the MO in DC recently, and we had a nice stay there. I had stayed at the MO in DC 10 years ago for a business trip shortly after it opened and it was a shining star. While the facility has aged somewhat, it is still very...

The hotel and it's staff were lovely as expected. Great outdoor lounge area. Everything you would expect from a Mandarin Oriental. This is a great conference/business hotel, but the location isn't great if your visiting DC as a tourist.
