We stayed for two nights in the Lighthouse room, which is very small but very sweet and romantic at the same time. The hotel is situated in a beautiful old building in Dupont Circle, which we loved for its proximity to interesting independent shops - including the fantastic Kramerbooks, and some lovely restaurants. All members of staff that we met...

Our family was excited to visit Washington DC this week along with our WWII veteran father/uncle as he participated in a program at the Pentagon. We needed just one night stay but needed 3 rooms. We looked at a variety of options and fell upon the Swann House. To be sure we could arrange for everyone's needs we called the...

The Swann Inn was an unforgettable experience for my husband and I. We came here for our wedding anniversary and we were out of words with the kindness and care demonstrated by the staff. We enjoyed every second of it, and we will be returning. The romantic scenery is the perfect place for couples to enjoy. Rita was awesome and...

the hotel is very nice, it has a little pool to refresh. The location is very close to the important places in d.c. The breakfast is very likely and the housekeeping stuff very friendly. The neighborhood is quiet. They have a nice grand piano in the living room. Absolutely recommendable place to stay.

Our room was perfect. Spacious, great bathroom. Deck with table and chairs. Breakfast was good for continental would have liked full breakfast. They arranged for our favorite champagne upon arrival. Great dog park across the street. Very very nice stay.

I moved from Cleveland, OH to Washington, DC in June for work. Once I arrived in DC, I quickly learned the neighborhood which was popular, urban, and loaded with amenities was located between Logan and Dupont circles. By accident I walked past this beautiful, well cared and historic Swann Inn building. I was staying at a private condo for a...

We were looking for a place in a nice neighborhood near a lot that DC has to offer and we came upon this B&B. It was so romantic. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was awesome. The neighborhood was beautiful. We were able to walk to dinner and then walk around afterward. We walked to the National...

Beautiful antique luxury. Short walk two blocks to a little liquor shop "Rosebud" with surprisingly fabulous and affordable wine selection...brought back for wine by the private pool garden with friends. Lovely wine glasses and ice bucket and cheese board provided by Swann. Quiet, charming neighborhood. Perfect welcome night before drugging off to the conference hotel.

This is such a romantic bed and breakfast. It's located perfectly near Dupont Circle but in the quieter stretch of the neighborhood. My husband and I have stayed here several times over the years and always loved our stays. The rooms are incredible. We love the Il Duomo room and the Regent Room. We also love the little pool outside...

Wife and I booked a couple of nights here as a kid-free getaway. We stayed in the Milano room, which was quite romantic. Nice sized room, queen sized bed and 2 person air tub. Only minor issues were the bed was uncomfortable (lumpy? not sure how to describe it) and the parking (which you need to reserve) was not at...
