I absolutely loved that this building was restored and is lovingly being taken care of. The hotel is historic with a great blend of quirky. Both lend well to each other. This hotel is totally pet friendly, which honestly, was really cool. Very warm front desk staff, check in was effortless. I can't say enough about the refurbishment and reuse...

We checked in and because I had requested a quiet room, the desk personnel made sure we were moved from the floor we were originally supposed to be staying to another room on the 1st floor due to a wedding that was happening that weekend. Thanks for that! Our room was nice and roomy with all the amenities we could...

We stayed in DC at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco from October 22-24 for our wedding anniversary. Booking was done by phone directly through the Kimpton booking line, very easy. Room rates provided were even better than advertised online being a Kimpton Karma (their in house rewards program) member. Rates very reasonable when compared to other hotels located as centrally as...

This hotel is in a very cool old building in DC. In fact it is one of the older buildings in the city. It has very high ceilings and the lobby and rooms are well appointed. The decor is funky but that's what Kimpton is known for. It took 3 calls to get a coffee maker for our room but...

We stayed at the Kimpton Monaco for the first time and had an amazing experience. The entire staff couldn't have been any friendlier or helpful. The hotel is beautiful! We have stayed in numerous hotels in DC & this was by far our best hotel experience! Can't wait until our next trip to DC & another stay at The Kimpton!!!

What really makes a good Company is how they resolve issues. We had some problems with check in. Basically one of our rooms was not ready. To make a long story short, at check out time they wanted to make me happy, and for me not go away angry. I commend them for resolving my unhappiness with them and have...

Anyway upgraded to an amazing suite I still miss weeks later. I loved my birthday cupcakes :) love the kimpton brand and can't...

Stayed here on business in September 2016 on a return visit. The hotel is good, rooms are large, spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is its main selling point being ideally situated on Kings Street about 200 yards from the waterfront. Lack of breakfast is a shame but their are plenty of local restaurants available so it is...

This hotel used to be a post office and the architecture is beautiful! The rooms are nicely appointed and the hallways grand. he best part of the hotel is the staff. Everyone was wonderful! We asked for and received an upgrade and late checkout. The location is great and close to sights. There is free wine/beer and snacks in the...

The hotel is in a great location if you are looking to walk a good amount instead of drove to everything. We found awesome dining options very close by as well. The hotel is a restored post office and it is massive. We literally had to walk about two indoor blocks to reach our room. Could have been because the...
