The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is a very nice hotel with a very good location. The entire staff was very nice. And the staff at the front desk is very professional and Kara especially was very efficient and helpful during our stay. Kara is a definite asset to this hotel.

When my parents came to visit me in Penn Quarter, my goal was to find a luxury hotel that was also handicapped-accessible. After personally visiting Hotel Monaco to make sure the exit/entrances were wheelchair-friendly and after checking out one of their ADA-compliant rooms, I thought I'd found the perfect location. However, the room they gave my parents upon check-in was...

First the positives: The location is great- just a short walk from the National Mall and White House and across the street from the Verizon Centre. There are a range of very good restaurant options very close by. The hotel is in a former post office, which has wonderful character, soaring ceilings, wide hallways, etc. We found the service very...

After doing a lot of research of trying to find a family friendly hotel close to everything we wanted to see in D.C - we stayed here. It was the best choice. We stayed in the Mediterranean suite which worked out well. I had requested a room on the 4th floor due to reviews I had read about avoiding the...

I love the location and the quirky decor, but they clearly gave my room to someone more important than me. I brought my teenage daughter with me on a business trip as a treat for her and, obviously, chose a hotel with a room with two beds. When we arrived at 4:00, they told me they were sold out of...

This hotel is a pleasant change from the mass market chain approach. Quirky and different, it offers a different feel with all the usual amenities wifi, fitness room, etc). There's a couple of great bars next to the restaurant. I was looked after brilliantly by Jishel in the bar on my first evening, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. However...

This Kimpton Member loves their hotels. A wonderful line of boutique hotels range from rich opulence, warm and natural, elegant, playful fun (bunkrooms), and even cold sterile modern. There is a flavor of Kimpton for everyone. The Monaco in DC offers location and location! In less than a four block radius you have access to the Verizon event center (sports...

What can you say about this five star hotel? Yes, the rooms are a tiny small but clean & well appointed. The staff have been amazing and their restaurant is first class. We have tea time in the mid-afternoon and free wine & beer at happy hour. What you're really paying for is location, location, location. Close to everything important...

This is our favorite hotel in DC. The people are incredibly friendly..vibe is retro cool. Location is great...The beds are firm (which depending on preference could be good or bad) but rooms are large and comfortable!

Here so that I could work through a snowstorm. Very interesting and unique property located in an old post office. Ceiling no joke 20 feet high in room, huge lion bust over the bed which I figured would probably kill me if it fell on me. Very clean, bed comfy, seemed quite quiet to me. Bar/restaurant seems interesting with outdoor...
