The mattresses and linens were chosen for ultimate comfort while artwork and the majority of furnishings are bespoke. Our second stay at the Lyle confirms my opinion. If possible, we will never stay anywhere else in DC. Delightful hotel staff with every detail for our stay spot on. Lovely small hotel with elegant rooms and thoughtful amenities. Delicious food, nice vibe in the bar area, fabulous location. When our plans changed unexpectedly, they were kind and accommodating. Worth every penny. Thank You Lyle, we'll be back.

My family and I visited DC for a long weekend to celebrate my mother-in-law. Our stay at the Lyle was nothing short of amazing. JOHNNY, the concierge, was the BEST! He treated my family like royalty. The hotel, restaurant and valet were 5 star. Johnny went above and beyond to make my kids and my handicap mother-in-law happy. The rooms were spacious and this was the only hotel to guarantee joined rooms. The food, drinks and Marcus at the restaurant did not disappoint. Thank you for a great experience. I had to make a last minute trip out to DC for a work trip and came upon the Lyle. Not only was the location central to where we needed to be, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and kind throughout our entire stay -- from checking in our bags, facilitating early check-in and providing recommendations during our stay. The rooms also had wonderful views and were absolutely spotless. Special thanks to Johnny and Lilly for making my team's stay so wonderful!

Amazing energy, restaurant & team. They always make me feel at home. My favorite place to stay in DC. Would recommend it for anyone visiting for business or recreation. There's thoughtful design elements throughout. Also DS & Durga toiletries which is the icing on the cake.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, perfect rooms with the most comfortable bed. I can’t wait to go back to DC to stay here again! I stayed for two weeks on a work trip and couldn’t have been happier. Also the location is superb for accessing all the best restaurants and the museums and monuments.

Only stayed one night at Lyle but it was absolutely lovely. Johnny was a great help at the concierge, his team was very attentive and accommodating. His team was also able to move me to a brighter room free of charge which I really appreciated. Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful boutique hotel with spacious, well-designed modern rooms, comfortable mattresses, and an excellent staff that went above and beyond to make a work trip smooth and comfortable. Special thanks to Johnny P. who assisted my colleague and I at checkout and Brandon (I think that was his name?) who checked us in. They were warm and welcoming, helped us find our reservations easily, accommodated a late check-out request, and held our luggage between checking out and a late evening flight. I had requested an early check-in for a room but none was available upon arrival, so Brandon provided a drink voucher that more than made up for it. An overall very, very positive impression - will absolutely keep the Lyle in mind for any future trips to DC.

The Lyle was an excellent experience. Great room. Fantastic bar. Friendly service. Upon arrival the girl at the desk gave us a voucher for two cocktails at the bar, which were excellent. Great way to start the stay. Our train got delayed and we needed to move our reservation around and Johnny P at the front desk came in clutch and saved the day. Thank you Johnny. We will be back. Joe

My boyfriend, tripawd dog and I stayed here in the middle of a long road trip. IT was such a treat. The service was impeccable from the start, with the man who checked us in (thanks Johnny!) and everyone was so welcoming to us. Our room was chic, clean and SO comfy. The restaurant attached to the hotel was divine. We will definitely be staying here next time we go through DC!
