Found this on hotel .com, it was reasonably priced there. It is located in a central area of DC.and on top of a hill. I kept saying to my son, that it was actually on top of the DC metro, which to me was under the grounds of the hotel. We went in the Spring for a college tour with...

Pro: near zoo and metro Con: it’s a tired looking hotel. Hallways and rooms are in need of renovations. We stayed on the club floor. It’s pretty bad looking. There’s nothing charming or inviting about it. It looks like a cafeteria, with crowded, old tables pushed together.

kw212, Thank you for sharing your experience regarding your stay at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. I am very sorry to read that your time here fell short of your expectations. We are very excited about our $20,000,000 renovation that has already begun. Respectfully, Jim Redington

I stayed here for four nights starting 06/07, I was there for a conference so i paid only $219 per night, which was not a bad deal at all. This hotel is in a great location. The campus is well maintained with flowers like no other in the area. My room was clean upon check in and was well cleaned...

I have stayed at this particular property several times over the years and each time I have been impressed. This particular stay was of no exception. From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out, the staff was very friendly and truly concerned if you were enjoying the stay. I had a room on the 10th floor...

Each year, we have a large conference in Washington and I've generally stayed in the Wardman Tower. Unfortunately, they're converting the Historic Tower to condominiums. This year I stayed in the "center tower". It's fine...but has nowhere near the charm. Meeting rooms/facilities are still very good and staff is fine. Location is nice w/ a metro station right outside and...

I stayed here while attending a conference recently. The hotel is well kept, appears to have recently updated rooms and common areas, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I could hear the person in the room next to me snoring, and noise from above and below though it wasn't enough to keep me awake or disturb my stay. Room...

I would not mind returning to this hotel and general area of DC. I was not blown away by the room though. Décor was just OK. My room had an unfortunate view of a loading dock. I have to think the days a modern hotel charges for Wi-Fi are numbered...but this Marriott is still one you have to pay to...

This hotel had a great weekend rate, is right on the Woodley Park/Zoo Metro stop and highly recommend for a summer stop in Washington. It is 4-5 blocks from the Zoo, and 2 blocks from the Rock Creek Parkway trail if you want to go walking or running. We walked to DuPont Circle and on down to the mall one...

We (me, my husband and 4.5 year old son) stayed in a king room with a roll-away bed in the Center Tower at the end of May. The room was definitely a little dated, but I picked this hotel for its proximity to the National Zoo and the parking that was included with our rate. We would stay here again,...

this location is perfect for visiting the zoo, rock creek park, and getting around DC. There are many excellent restaurants around and the hotel is on a beautiful piece of park like property great for wandering around. It's a large hotel more geared toward conventions but you can request a quiet room and have a peaceful stay. Staff was accommodating...
