We stayed at this hotel while a family member was making a presentation at the Capitol and the rest of us were sight seeing. This hotel was in the perfect location. The rooms were smaller than I had hoped but they were comfortable and very clean. We were within walking distance to the metro, the zoo, and eating establishments. The...

I recently travelled with my family to DC to celebrate my nieces 30th birthday. This hotel is located in a beautiful section of DC and was very easy to find. We were within walking distance to the zoo and the metro which was very convenient. We also enjoyed a late night snack at the restaurant and the lobby bar located...

The service at this location is still excellent. We visited in September 2013 and April 2014. Both times, we ended up the exact same room. I'm not sure if that was by design or luck, but either way we were very pleased. This is still a very busy hotel, but the staff works diligently to ensure the elevators keep moving...

This hotel is a perfect venue for conferences (more than 2000 at the conference we attended). It is a very large hotel with quite a bit of walking needed to get to some rooms. The rooms could benefit from an uplift. The bathroom and bath are small though very clean. Our room in the Park Tower had a wall full...

This hotel is geared to large conventions rather than individual travelers visiting the D.C. area. Hotel grounds are very nice and well maintained. The hotel is very large but not logically laid out, making it difficult to get around. Our room was fine: clean and fair-sized. At dinner time, the concierge was already off duty; the front desk was marginally...

Terrible services, confusing directions, not enough charging outlet in the public area, bell man inside and outside bellboy provides the worst services, very impolite, rushing us, and giving us a face when we are getting money from wallets, insisting on tips even though we are very dissatisfied on their services, room housecleaning service is equally bad

I agree with another reviewer that the rooms are a bit shabby and the beds are not the most comfortable. WHile it looks like they have tried to update the hotel, it has a worn out feeling. The food was below par in the bar area. The neighborhood has good options. It is definitely a business/convention hotel. The staff was...

If you are probably ending up here because of a convention or meeting, which is why we as a family stayed here, then fine. But, if you are choosing to stay here for vacation, look elsewhere, unless the rate is incredibly spectacular. The location is OK, it's close to cheap, good ethnic food and the Smithsonian zoo, that's it. It's...

The convention facilities are very nice, but the hotel is a little tired. My room was a bit shabby and the bed sagged. The housekeeping staff left dirty laundry on the floor of my room twice. They changed the sheets but left the old ones on the floor. Who does that? The shower dripped all night. The hallways were very...

Big conference hotel that is starting to show its age. Fine but nothing special. Would not stay away but would also would not go out of my way for it. Typical older Marriott. No surprises...... No treats. Just average and the service is just that too.
