I can't recomend this place enough! My friend and I were in town to watch hockey and Keith helped us with all the directions to the arena, gave us good suggestions for resturants and how we could find our way around town. Breakfast was perfect with good variation. As i Said, can't recomend this place enough. Thanks for our stay...

Mt. Vernon Square B&B is a beautifully restored building worth visiting itself and is a great location to see the sights in DC. The hosts were cordial, friendly, and great for conversation around the breakfast table. Speaking of breakfast, it was amazing! Comfortable, cozy nd very reasonable, I will be back!

This Inn offers al, of the modern convieniences of a hotel with the charm and quaintness of an inn. The rooms are spacious and the breakfasts are tasty. The Innkeeper was very helpful with directions to the local attractions. And we could walk to everything. Overall this was a perfect stay for us and we will be back here next...

I had not stayed in a bed and breakfast in years, but given the significant price difference between hotels near convention center and this B and B. I thought I would give it a try. It was very nice, big room- modern bathroom, big ten network on tv so could watch basketball game. Many hotels don't have that network. It's...

We stayed here for several days over the Thanksgiving holiday week. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, the bed and sheets were comfy and the innkeeper Keith and his assistant were both friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were all great and we met some new friends around the table every morning. The house and the...

This was by far and away the best stop on our trip. Keith immediately made us feel at home in this wonderful older home. The stained glass and period pieces let us know immediately that this was a special place. We chose to park our car and walk the five days we were in DC. Glenda's breakfasts were outstanding! We...

There is something about staying in a real bedroom that makes a visit feel more like home. At Mt Vernon B&B, when you close the door to your room, you are literally in a safe haven. Yes, you'll hear the sounds of the city outside, but you won't hear your neighbors in the next room! Every thing was exceptionally clean....

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights and it was very nice. Close enough to walk 3-4 blocks from the metro. We took the metro from the airport to Mt Vernon Square for $2.75 and walked to the house. We also walked to Union Station several times which was about 10 blocks. We stayed in the Bombay room upstairs...

Mt Vernon B & B is located near the D.C. Convention Center, the Metro and the dining center on 7th Street NW. If you are a walker, the Mall is just over a mile a way. The rooms are clean, good sized and pleasant. Breakfast is served family style at 8:30 AM, so nice way to meet fellow travelers, but...

We were an easy taxi ride to the National Art Gallery. Loved leaving our car T the B&B and the taxi was cheaper than having to park. Our room was on the third floor, large and comfortable. The Jacuzzi tub was a real plus. Breakfast was delicious and the other guests were educated intelligent people. We really enjoyed our stay.
