Hotel Washington is in a modernized old building. Great staff and the location is very close to the mall, White House and museums. The breakfast is great, staff quickly remember you and your needs. Rooms are a bit quirky, can be small and oddly set up. Showers are very nice. Beds are very good.

We are currently staying 4 nights in room 820. We are only 2 nights into our stay and already we felt compelled to praise our host Hotel and the staff. We have stayed everywhere and are very very tough critics of service and style. This hotel is without question a world-class establishment. Sarah from reception was very professional and helpful over the phone prior to our arrival. Once we arrived we were greeted with exceptional hospitality by Shay who provided a warm welcome and an unexpected bottle of Whitney's favorite wine to our room. An unprecedented level of design and detail has gone into the creation of a spectacular space from the lobby to the Rooftop Bar. Fitness facility was well appointed and clean. The spa was lovely and the staff were very accommodating, helping Whitney fix a scheduling snafu. The room was the highlight. The room was exceptionally clean and obviously the result of a very talented decorating and design team. The location cannot be beat but with a staff and venue as phenomenal as this why would anyone want to go outside. We are looking forward to enjoying the remainder of our stay and will be singing the Praises of this place to anyone who will listen. Well done Hotel Washington! Thanks for taking pride in your work. The Hotel is in an Excellent Location, very close to attractions and metro, the hotel and rooms are clean. The staff is very helpful. The Hotel Washington offers a Very comfortable stay. The Hotel is in the Higher price range.

Everything about this hotel is 5 stars except for one thing. If you are staying over the weekend, be aware that during our stay the rooftop bar was playing booming house or rave music from 10pm to almost 2am and the noise and vibrations from it can be felt at least 2 levels below in the corner suite. I even walked out of the room and could feel and hear it all the way to the elevators. This makes it impossible to relax or sleep in your room from that time. This should not be happening in a corner suite. Other than that, the hotel is modern and very clean. The staff were all very nice. It is a safe and secure hotel. So, as you can see in this review my rating is 5 stars for everything except for sleep quality. If you are planning to party until 2 am then you will be fine. All that being said, it is a great hotel and great location for visiting the Washington Monument and the mall, as well as any of the Smithsonian museums. All are within walking distance as well as many restaurants nearby. …

This hotel was spectacular. Selam at the front desk was extremely helpful and did an amazing job assisting my family and I. The gentlemen at the valet parking area were very helpful as well. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great time in Washington D.C.

I had a personal emergency where I needed to print, sign, and fax papers over urgently. I was surprised by the very helpful and attentative staff who spared no effort to make it happen. Both Alejandra and Kiarra at reception acted within minutes. Their empathy, attention to detail, and prompt action are remarkable. You've done well Hotel Washington. Walking distance to everything we had planned visiting, very friendly staff, we traveled with kids and everyone was nice and cordial with them. Valet staff friendly and helpfull. Rooms clean and very well designed, great use of square footage, small but efficient rooms.

Fantastic location close to all the sites of DC. Easy walk to the museums, monuments, and White House. Rooftop restaurant and bar is amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms have that euro feeling with comfortable amenities. Recommended for business or pleasure.
