Good location, and a quality Hilton property. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. We had upgraded to a corner suite room, which was clean and very spacious, with decent amenities. The suite had three different areas: a living room with L-shaped couch, half bathroom, Nespresso coffee maker mini fridge and small desk. A separate area (separating the entry/living room from the bedroom) had a five-seat round dining table, and the bedroom with a king bed and chair and large bathroom with separate shower/toilet room and sink/counter room. Two smart TVs (living room and bedroom) allow for Chromecasting from your devices. Seemed a bit odd that there was no dresser or chest of drawers in the bedroom for clothes (although plenty of space for one) and no hooks or bars in the bathroom/shower room to hang up bath towels (again, with plenty of wall and door space for them). Room could have also used a microwave. The entire property seems clean and well-maintained. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, along with a bar that serves breakfast (buffet), and dinner. Valet parking is the only option right at the hotel, for $55/night extra, which seemed a bit high even for DC.…
I’ll start with that this Hilton is perfectly located - ten min walk to every major museum, and landmark, which is why we chose it. We also spent lots of time at the Wharf which is a short walk as well. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest most wonderful staff. The rooms are brand new and spacious - the bathrooms are all upgraded. No carpet! We needed a pack and play crib in our room for our baby and it was waiting and ready after a long day of travel. The Starbucks in the lobby also has the best ladies staffing it - we were sad to say goodbye to them! Anything we needed (extra towels, bottles of water, extra blankets) was delivered within minutes to our room. Even the valet was so kind and warm. This is a well run, excellent choice for a hotel in DC!
I always stay at Hilton Properties when I travel for business. I have traveled to Washington DC numerous times this past year and have had really good stays at various Hilton properties. Bujt i must say, I was thrilled when I stayed for the first time at the Hilton DC National Mall the Wharf property. The hotel is very new, rooms are fantictic and no rugs which I really liked. The Hotel ammeneties have everything you need for business travel; there is a Starbucks, and great Restuatrant and great bar in the lobby too. I valet poarked my car and i never had to wait to get my car. I love the location of the property and ease to get in and out of there. The front desk staff were also great, especially Mr. George Taylor who provided exceptional service to me which i very much apprecaited. Thank you Mr. Taylor!…
When we arrived we were treated like royalty. They allowed us to upgrade our on, secured out luggage until the room was ready and suggested that we relax and grab a bite to eat. After our first excursion we were greeted by Alex who was proven to be a rock star. The customer service was impeccable and the restaurant staff was all unique in their own right. My family can not wait to return to DC and will be frequenting this hotel again.
I would not recommend this hotel for families. We thought the location would be good with the mall and metro underground but after 6pm at night everything is closed. Housekeeping don’t visit during your stay so the rooms are not getting a good clean. There is mould in the shower, shampoo dispenser fell off the wall and the bathroom door was very hard to slide open. There is so much dust between the fridge and cupboards I don’t think they have been cleaned. The front desk staff on our check out were extremely rude and unhelpful in assisting us with questions to get to the metro with luggage. She really did not care at all. Breakfast was average and not worth the money they charge. This is the worst Hilton we have stayed at.
Great hotel and location. Lorena did an excellent job during the check-in. She was very courteous and recommended a few nearby restaurants and how to get the subway. Thank you very much for the good service.
It has a great location to allow you to walk . Clean and nice rooms Jordan at the Front desk was really nice and helped us with all our questions . I would like to come back in a warmer weather for sure. Spy museum is literally next door ! I recommend it as an affordable nice hotel. Breakfast included was good and everyone is really nice.
Staff was very attentive and accommodating. My only complaint with staff was that no one seemed to have change so I could tip the doormen and valet. The pantry needs some healthier options but I guess late night snacks are supposed to be fat, sugar, and salt. Room key access to the room floors made you feel safe. Much less likely that non patrons are roaming the hotel. The room was very modern, clean, and well maintained. There were ample towels and other bath items. Temperature control was easy to use and thank God for the coffee maker and refrigerator. In many of my trips over the last two years some hotels have removed those items. Kudos for keeping them Hilton. If you are driving in make sure you factor in parking. Parking is $55 per day. Add that to your room rate. You can walk to the National Mall and restaurants from here but its not just an easy treck, but for about $10 you can catch a Lyft to Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and many other places. …
Very Modern Hotell Great Location. Huge TV Starbucks on-site and restaurants. 5 minutes from USPS HQ was a plus for me!! Nice closet area. Great eating spots nearby at The Warf. Fantastic Valet Service! Friendly, Helpful and Efficient. Donna at Front Desk gets an A+ Definitely will stay again.
Bathroom sink drain was clogged and upon reporting, it was fixed. The bar had no paper food menus. Only way to get a menu was via my phone scan of a QR code. Asked for a paper menu and the bar clerks did not offer one or any solution for me to order food other than to use MY phone. Scanning QR codes are not an acceptable practice for any company or restaurant trying to save money or protect against spreading germs. I will not expose my phone or home network to be exposed to ransomware or other security exploits that can be imbedded in QR codes. Despite the lack of food service at the bar, on my first night stay, I reported this problem to the front desk and the Desk Manager Alex, provided me a sandwich from the desk deli. Alex deserves recognition for his ability to properly rectify this situation and other issues brought to his attention.…
