The motto is one of the best place I’ve stayed. I visit DC often because of family but once you walk you are greeted with an amazing associate named Jessica. She was the most helpful and made us feel so welcomed. She recommended a lot of places, made sure our stay was amazing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to other people. We definitely enjoyed our stay here. Perfect area and it’s super cute inside and homey
Tru/Jess/Mario/Angel are all the things. They provide top tier customer service and it’s clear they love what they do. If we are going to a wizards or caps game or looking for a quick overnight in dc we don’t hesitate to stay at the motto. The staff is top notch and the diamond bennys are good. No. It’s not a Conrad - which is where we would stay for a longer staycation but the staff equally carries the Hilton emblem and pride! They always recognize us as respect guests by name, ensure we are checked in quickly, make our favorite cocktails in the fancy whiskey bar - rooftop of downstairs. We are always treated like royalty!! Love this place ♥️♥️
This is a great location and close to the metro. The staff is helpful and Jessica was very accommodating. She got me a tea kettle for my room. Loved the workout room. Room was clean and bed a was comfortable.
Great staff! Shout out to Jessica and Yarde for being so wonderful! Clean rooms !! Location is perfect for exploring the mall or going to a game at Capitol one arena! We have stayed at this motel several times and will be again !! Let’s go Caps!
Very friendly staff. Crimson restaurant and bar had a small food menu but the quality was excellent. Rooftop bar was not open during my stay. Chinatown location is convenient to the Hill and the Mall. As long as you are good with the micro-hotel rooms (they really are tiny) you should have a good experience.
Perfectly serviceable property with a great basement bar. But I couldn't sleep because of the droning noise of the bathroom fan, which couldn't be shut off. I called the front desk and was told it's a DC requirement to keep filtration fans running at all times, but I searched that and couldn't find any evidence of such a regulation. Then I noticed they very nicely provide cheap earplugs at the bedside table. Being able to sleep I would say is a basic expectation for a hotel room. Retrofit the HVAC, get new fans, whatever -- they have to figure this out.
Came for my husbands 60th birthday, staff was super friendly and made him feel special! Everyone at the desk told him happy birthday when we walked by. Right at the friendship arch in Chinatown, Across from entrance to metro. Within walking distance of places to eat, shop and sightsee. Great value for a trip to the nation’s capitol.
Great hospitality! So friendly, & helpful. Very welcoming. Safe feeling! Ishobel, Jess, & Mike all great employees, & super helpful & friendly!!! Highly recommend to everyone looking for a trip to DC!
Awesome experience. Great service from michael. Made a small hotel feel like home. Went above and beyond every time. Always cheerful and helped us navigate the downtown parking fun. I would recommend this crew anytime.
Yarde & Sara were amazing and overwhelmingly professional. They gave directions, answered questions and were quite awesome. Love the hotel too. Perfect location in China Town area. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
