I have stayed a few times at the Hamilton Hotel in the past year. Rooms are comfortable, large and spotless. All staff are excellent from the front desk to housekeeping to the bartenders. The hotel restaurant Via Sophia is becoming one of my favorite in Washington. This is truly one of the best hotels in Washington
Our first trip to Washington we couldn't have chosen a better place. Historical, well maintained, and the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. We had a spacious corner room with a beautiful view of Franklin Square park and the Washington monument in the background. This trip will be a forever memory
The room is very comfortable with nice decor. It is very inviting. The decor in the room and the architecture around the building is historic stylish and a fun experience. Front desk was service oriented and very informative at check in and concierge gave us very good recommendations. Breakfast options were limited but quality was good. Satisfied customer!
My parent stayed at the Hamilton for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They were welcomed with the warmest and kindest staff. The hotel design was beautiful and welcoming and the room was quiet clean and well thought out. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Washington
Beautiful restored hotel a block from subway, next door to Washington Post, on K and 14th. Big, nice rooms. Lovely lobby and strong staff. Low-key atmosphere away from tourist crowds. Nice restaurant but sad the Starbucks there closed in pandemic.
The hotel was very well located for many tourist attractions and areas of DC. We walked around our entire stay and didn't need to use public transport once. Very friendly staff, the room was clean and service efficient. Hotel restaurant was also extremely good.
The Hamilton Hotel is a nice, comfortable hotel in a great central location within walking distance of all the major sights of Washington DC. It felt safe, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We didn't need a car as it was about a 15 minute walk to the White House, The Mall, and about 20 minutes to the Smithsonian museums - with lots to see along the way. There are also a ton of restaurants of all levels and prices within walking distance. It's a historic hotel that is showing a little wear around the edges, but still nice. If you want a nice get away experience that isn't a basic chain hotel in a good location, I would recommend staying at The Hamilton Hotel.
A hotel you would love to stay whether it be on leisure or business trip. The staff was amazing (Sarah, Jaye and Reynoldo at the bar)! I loved how it was 101 years old but did not look it! The staff takes great pride in where they work.
The Hamilton Hotel has it all. Room was beautiful and nice with plenty of outlets and a very strong wifi signal. Public space was very stylish with a nice bar and restaurant. Location in the heart of downtown DC. We come to Washington often and Hamilton Is becoming our preferred hotel choice.
Excellent service, great room , friendly staff, excellent food . Altogether it made my stay an enjoyable experience with a great location in central Washington close to all the amenities, parks and museums
