Great location -- just minutes walk from the metro, Trader Joe's, and many restaurants. It was about 35-45 min walk to the Mall and downtown -- very pleasant walk through different neighborhoods -- we enjoyed it very much. We had the bedroom on the 4th floor with a private bath. It was very clean and spacious. It had a bed,...

I was at the guest house for five nights - very lovely place but I never saw another person the entire time I was there... The room was clean, attractive and a good bed! The location was excellent and easy to get all over DC.

Guest feedback is always super valuable to us. We appreciate this guest’s comments noting the great location, clean, attractive room and good bed—how important a good bed is when you are away from home. The title of the review does give us pause. While the home is advertised as self hosted and not a traditional B&B experience, it is still...

The guesthouse itself is nicely decorated. You can use the living room with TV and the kitchen. The guest room (Pembroke) has a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The Pembroke room can be a little bit noisy due to it's proximity to the shower. Wi-Fi is included. The whole place is very clean! The Location of the guesthouse is great.There...

I reserved three rooms for a few days to accommodate myself and several of my college students while attending a media conference and taking all kinds of educational tours. I could not be more pleased with my decision. The host was lovely, the house clean and well decorated, and the location could not be beat. We were able to walk...

I stayed in the Pembroke room, which came with its own A/C and fridge (which had plenty of free water). Too bad the ceiling fan didn't work. Since I was by myself, I found the room comfortable. I also liked that I was right next to the bathroom, since i tried to use it before the other people in the...

I travel to DC for work with some frequency and always plan to stay at the Cardozo House (even when clients or others would foot the bill at a much more expensive hotel). The location is superb, close to restaurants and music venues. There is a wonderful neighborhood feel, the Metro and the very fine DC Bike Rental system are...

We had a wonderful stay at the Cardozo Guesthouse - it's a cosy place to stay in a nice neighbourhood and inside it felt like home :) We were in the Duxbury room, which was spacious with a fridge containing bottled water. There are two other rooms on the level that you have to share a bathroom with but during...

Beautiful home - rooms are nice, a couple of them are small. I usually get the one at the front of the house (Hingham). There is a Trader Joes on 14th street so you can get snacks or stuff for breakfast, milk for your coffee, etc. Just watch out for long lines towards closing. The neighborhood is good, especially if...

If ever we'll go back to Washington, we will consider to stay at Cardozo Guest House. Well-maintained with free refreshments in the fridge inside our room. The common bathroom was very clean although it's being shared by 3 rooms on the second floor. The &Pizza near the stations is recommended.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Cardozo House in the Norwell Room. The location is wonderful. You are in quick walking distance of the Metro, Starbucks, Trader Joe's and lot's of wonderful establishments. The communication by Bed and Breakfast DC was FANTASTIC! They kept me informed, and made me feel very welcomed. :) I will definitely stay at Cardozo...
