What excellent performances in thought-provoking stage productions, in the wonderful theater district of D.C. And the actor/owner will often do Q&A after the performance, too. It's big enough to feel "legitimate" w/o losing the intimacy that can make a high-level performance more touching and real--including some of the first-tier actors from Broadway and off-Broadway shows. With a refined lobby and... More

My family of five really enjoyed our Washington DC vacation. The unit we were in (1021) was clean, beautifully appointed, and offered a lovely view of the National Portrait Gallery. Lots of great dining options nearby and shopping too! The location can't be beat if you are touring Smithsonian. Highly recommended!

First the positives: 1) Very clean accommodation located in a convenient area (Penn Quarter) with plenty of restaurants nearby. 2) Very spacious, and updated with a very modern decor (if you like that). 3) Pool and fitness facilities are very nice. 4) VERY secure (you need a key fob for everything including elevator) 5) Reservation process through "Stay Alfred" was... I've got to tell you: when traveling for any length of time (meaning more than a night or two) with family I'm becoming an apartment rental believer. This rental was a definite "find." The large two bedroom two bath apartment with new open kitchen was a dream. Especially as it looks like we're getting snowed in and will be spending... More

I can honestly say I was a bit fearful of booking at the Lansburgh with some of the negative comments; however, I made a great choice. I checked in for my two-month stay and enjoyed every bit of it. So close to so many Metro stops. It made getting from point-to-point easy. The kitchen was awesome and was equipped with... More

The bedroom had a large desk for time needed to execute paper work etc. the closet space was plentiful..offering two closets... More

I booked the Woodward through Expedia - I did not stay at the Woodward. You see, the company that manages the Woodward apartment building manages several other apartment buildings that all specialize in long-term rentals. When a current tenant decides to extend their stay in the room you are supposed to be in, you are moved from that building to... More
