We arrived on 26 January for a 4 night stay. We had 2 rooms both of which were excellent. Good water pressure in showers and comfy beds. Herman and Yolanda were so kind and helpful, one of our party felt unwell and they did all they could to help. The entire family were always friendly and tried to meet our every...

The best thing about this casa is Herman who is a wealth of knowledge about Trinidad and he is extremely charming and helpful. He made a number of phone calls for us to help plan our onward journey as his English is excellent. Herman arranged a fabulous horse riding trip to a waterfall where there was not one other tourist....

We visited Trinidad in December, and we're spending three nights over Christmas at Herman's home. We were a group of 8 and had booked four rooms in his home. Having booked this casa over 7 months in advance, I was informed that due to double booking with his family, our group was to split up with another casa around the...

We had a good stay in this casa, which is in walking distance of the city centre. Too bad that Herman and Yolanda weren't present at the time, they were on holiday in the Netherlands. But Yolanda's family was friendly and helped us too. We could have our breakfast on our own cosy terrace. I was a good breakfast and...

We have the best stay in Cuba when staying with Herman and Yolanda. The casa and the room was cosy and clean, and the atmosphere in the house was nice! They have a patio on the lower floor where you can hang out, which is also where you have the breakfast and, if wanted, the dinner. There is also a...

very sweet family, most of them do not speak English however. Little room with purple colours, smallest toilet I ever saw, cold water and little water coming out of the shower head, noisy aircondition, very noisy in the night with shouting people and dogs barking, very very good location and close walking distance to the centre of Trinidad. You can...

During our tour of Cuba my friend and I stayed at Hostal El Holandes in Trinidad. Although when we arrived Herman Frijling and his wife Yolanda Ramos were away the casa was efficiently managed by their happy smiling friendly helpful staff. The room that we stayed in was clean, comfy, spacious, has a fan, air-conditioning and a private bathroom. The...
