I can thoroughly recommend this casa. The welcome we received when we arrived was very warm, from the whole family. The breakfast was excellent and plenty of it, including as much tea/coffee/juice as we wanted. Helpfully there was a fridge in our room, stocked with water/beer/soft drinks on an honesty basis. There was no safe in the room but to...

We travelled 4 weeks through Cuba and this was definitely one of the best casas we stayed in. Great breakfast! Everything you could wish for was there. Also the diner was great! Best lobster we had in Cuba! The people are super nice. We had lovely conversations with them and everything was done with a smile. We felt so welcome...

I chose this hotel because they emphasized their cooking ability and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed 5 nights yet the first night I arrived was already 7 pm, too late to prepare dinner for me. The second night I had pork chop and decided I would have dinners at this casa all the way because it is simply much much...

I spent a couple of nights here and would definitely recommend it to anyone as a place to stay in Trinidad - the location is great, newly refurbished rooms are really well done with good air con, breakfast was lovely, I loved the roof space for chilling with a beer and Cici is the friendliest little pooch ever!!

We stayed in this casa for three nights. We were a group of ten, and as they have 5 rooms we all could sleep in the same casa, which is exceptional for a casa. Breakfast was very copious. Rooms upstairs very good, two rooms downstairs are less interesting, and a bit darker.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at El Teide. We received a very warm welcome from our host Dania and shown to our downstairs room which was quiet, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was easily the best we ate in Cuba, and apart from the usual fresh fruits, eggs etc. we enjoyed fresh bread rolls and home cooked...

A lovely Casa to stay at with an equally lovely family running it. The food was the best we had in Cuba and always with an appetizing presentation. To book directly email: contacto@hostalteidetrinidad.com . The rooms are spacious and modern with small refrigerators. The roof top patio gives a great view of Trinidad and surrounding mountains. The Casa is a...

We visited Hostal El Teide during our honeymoon in Cuba at the end of January 2016. Carlos and Dania, the proprietors of the hotel greeted us on arrival, which made us feel very speacial. As the hostal is part of their family home, one can get a very autentic Cuban experience. The rooms are very modern and the whole place...

It was a pleasant surprise to get beyond the modest front door in the rather scruffy side street, and find that it opened up into an attractive, airy establishment. We and our friends went on to enjoy five nights at El Teide and would certainly recommend it for the quality of service (laundry, cups of tea, mojitos), the charm of...

We had the most warm welcome at El Teide and the house is very well kept and clean. It is in a good location, quiet and within a few minutes of the centre. The breakfast is great, with lots of fresh fruit and coffee. We also had an excellent supper - one of our nicest meals in Cuba. Our whole...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Did you know that there are not professionals of the tourist service in most of the private guesthouses? As much the management as the service are carried out by their own owners who hardly ever have the appropriate preparation. It's pure empiricism and maybe common sense. The guests notice that it isn't the same attention that they are accustomed to receive in the hotels. They sometimes perceive a little late the professionalism lack, when they are already housed. However, in El Teide Guesthouse the attention is totally different. The service is runned by Mr. Carlos Durán Estévez who is Maitre d'Hotel, Manager of Foods and Beberages, Somelier, Specialist in Bars and Living room, and he is graduated in numerous courses of International Cuisine. In fact, he is Maitre d'Hotel at the Iberostar Trinidad. Of course, he speaks English fluently. When you visit us, we will also offer you information on the rent of cars, dance lessons, horseback riding, as well as different tours that you can enjoy during your stay in El Teide Guesthouse. We'll be in charge of of your rest, your comfort and in definitive, of your vacations. At the end you'll feel that to stay in El Teide Guesthouse was a correct decision ... more   less
