We had never stayed in a "Casa" before, which really is a B&B. The house was nice and very well located and very clean, breakfasts were good. The family were pleasant but somewhat reserved, particularly Rosa, but that was not a problem. You got a key to the side door so you could come and go as you pleased, which...

For the third time (2005, 2012 and 2017) we visited Trinidad, and again we enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of Rosa and Julio. They invite you into their beautiful colonial house with antique furniture, spacious rooms with modern bathrooms, and make you really feel at home. They also serve a really nice breakfast in the small patio.

As a family of four we booked 2 rooms which were joined with a private stair. This was a perfect arrangement and very spacious. The casa is beautifully furnished and breakfast was very nice. Julio and Rosa are lovely people and very helpful. Our horse riding trip to the farms and waterfall was fabulous. The casa is in a great...

Trinidad was our favourite place in Cuba and this colonial casa was a fantastic place to stay. We had one of the smallest rooms apparently but it was big enough for us and it had an en-suite which I feel it hugely important. The views from the roof are fantastic and its just a view minutes from the famous square....

We booked this place some time before - based on the recommendation in Lonely Planets guide. Well it is nice but very overrated. Nice breakfast though. At the time we booked everything was full, but we could have a room - they normally didn't rent out. It is just beside the patio and too small. And the aircondition is awfull....

Very comfortable room and breakfasts were great. Hosts were most helpful with local knowledge and of course about Cuba in general. Highly recommend staying here. Located on a colourful street with excellent walking to all the sights.

Casa Munoz is a great colonial house in which to stay while you are in Trinidad. We booked an upstairs and downstairs bedroom that was connected by a private staircase. It was perfect for us. Each room had A/C, was spacious and had a bathroom. There was wifi in the house that made our accommodations even more convenient. Julio was...

We heard of Julio Munoz as the 'horsewhisperer' of Trinidad and thought that the horses are well treated. They are absolutely not! My boyfriends horse had an injured leg, so it could not walk properly. They had pressure marks all over them. It's especially sad, because we thought that may be the one place where the horses are treated well....

My daughter, granddaughter and I spent three super days in Trinidad at Casa Munoz. I only wish it could have been longer. Our hosts went out of their way to welcome us. As independent, person-to-person travelers from the USA, I really appreciated Julio's advise, insights & recommendations. Our room was spacious, spotless, with a our own bath and air conditioning....

We had the bi-level suite and it was perfect. Very large rooms and good facilities. The house itself is gorgeous on the inside, and the patio area is great for breakfast. Only downside was Julio wasn't there because he was traveling, but his daughter was around to help us out.

Thank Andy G
